It's based on 30 years of following this program as close as anyone, talking with insiders, reading the tea leaves and some good old fashioned analysis of the college football coaching profession and what seems to be working.
This is not a troll job at all.
Remember when Marc Hochman broke the news last year on 560 that Golden would be fired and Chud would be named head coach? That was all Blake. He was shut down by Donna. Blake panicked that he would lose the opportunity to hire Chud. Chud should still be the Browns head coach. Chud has very smartly declined at least 3 OC jobs to wait for the Miami job to open. He was inducted into the UM Hall of Fame on April 9, 2015 in Coral Gables. I think the deal is already done and they are working on the budget. Blake is making it look like a search is going on because of then extraordinary number of candidates available.
My top 3 are...
1. Butch (Don't think they will do it with who else is available and history)
2. Chud (Obvious second choice and possibly a better fit than Butch right now)
3. Herman (Don't think we can get him. Too much competition)
Foil you've never wavered in your Chud stance - can't tell if you're an amazingly committed troll or if you truly know something. Is your info based on your opinions or have you spoken with decision makers about this scenario? I'm genuinely curious.
