Dunno. Just speculation. Tired of reading the ‘we suck and are a ****show’ posts. In what job?
I was following to narrative that Dabo was leaving Clemson. I’m thought that was the “thing” on this thread. Sorry I misread the roomWhat’s your point?
Nobody does "$EC cheating" better than Florida $tate and Clem$on, but there is zero chance either is getting pounded with sanctions.
Schools have lawyered up and chased the NCAA out of the enforcement business
That one is true.Dabo is a snake man. There’s stories about him that obviously I can’t confirm. But supposedly he got pulled over and he basically told the cop to eff off
Saban isn’t leaving anytime soon, unless perhaps, he wins #8 this year and says ‘that’s enough, no one can catch me’.Dabo is going to end up at Alabama one day. That's his dream and there are plenty of powerful people at Alabama who want that to happen once Saban is gone. He's kissed all the right asses and played nice with all the right people. It would take a set of circumstances that I can't even imagine to prevent it from happening.
Yea, he’s sposedly next in line.Dabo is going to end up at Alabama one day. That's his dream and there are plenty of powerful people at Alabama who want that to happen once Saban is gone. I hear ya. Dabo knows what's up. He'll wait however long it takes. The guy would sacrifice one of his kids to get that job.Saban isn’t leaving anytime soon, unless perhaps, he wins #8 this year and says ‘that’s enough, no one can catch me’.
If Dabo keeps giving seasons like he just had, Bama won't be callingDabo is going to end up at Alabama one day. I do not disagree with you. He's a weird fit for the NFL. Would be curious to see the result of that experiment.
I had this conversation with somebody yesterday. My take on it is, he might never retire unless he physically can’t do it anymore, or his wife says enough is enough.Saban isn’t leaving anytime soon, unless perhaps, he wins #8 this year and says ‘that’s enough, no one can catch me’.
You’re probably right. He could also bolt to the NFL and leave when Saban‘s ready.I hear ya. Dabo knows what's up. He'll wait however long it takes. The guy would sacrifice one of his kids to get that job.
Reminds me of Jimmy Johnson without the personality. Lives, breathes, eats football.I had this conversation with somebody yesterday. My take on it is, he might never retire unless he physically can’t do it anymore, or his wife says enough is enough.
Have you heard of Saban having a hobby? I haven’t. Seems like he lives and breathes for competition. For winning and going to work everyday. I think as soon as you take that away form him, his life has less meaning. Maybe grandkids will change that, if he doesn’t already have them, I don’t think he does. But I see no reason he’ll quit. He’s already got more money than he’ll ever spend. So it’s about way more than that.
Oh sure, no argument. He’ll retire when he no longer wants the grind. Or the wife, although maybe going to work keeps him away from her.I had this conversation with somebody yesterday. My take on it is, he might never retire unless he physically can’t do it anymore, or his wife says enough is enough.

And bc of that I don’t see tv full time in Saban’s futureReminds me of Jimmy Johnson without the personality. Lives, breathes, eats football.
Its gonna take a LOT more than one season to scare them away from him. Clemson has been so good that their down year looks worse than its been. Yeah the offense looked worse than a pornstar's ********. But now Dabo is a win over Iowa State away from his 11th straight double digit win season with the only game that really got away from them being Pitt. The other 2 losses were to UGA 10-7 in Atlanta and to NC State in double OT.If Dabo keeps giving seasons like he just had, Bama won't be calling
