Timeline is going to be tough to match up. Among other possible road blocks.
 
Chip might be too smart for his own good in the NFL but he would terrorize the ACC coastal and anyone who thinks otherwise is either a Redskins fan or a moron.
 
Texas will get him. Rumor has it, Chip's agent has already been in contact with the folks in Austin. Miami should move quickly and free themselves of this dead weight and start the search early to beat other teams but they won't because they're Miami. Reactive not proactive.

If we could get Chip you get him he is a big time coach who has won if he thinks he know it all good fall in line the man has had success in college period and has been to a National Championship game but i will tell you the cost for him will be 5 million or higher i think we should give him them 5 million easily.

Got news for you.....if Texas wants him, they will get him over us, regardless of timing.

He won't quit until he can run his real offense, and that won't happen until he gets an athletic qb. Dude is too prideful.

I just hope my Eagles give him a chance to get his qb, and don't can him . His safe this year, but next year the heat could turn up

The chance this administration pays a HC $5M /yr, and has to pay Golden's contract after firing him is probably less than winning the lotto. But I'm with you man. The problem with this school is they've always been unwilling to pay for good HC's once we get them. We were incredibly lucky to have Schnelly, Jimmy, and Butch. When guys like that come around it's obviously hard to stop them from trying to go to the NFL, but you gotta pay them at least above average salary. It doesn't make any sense. It's like they just don't understand if you pay for a great HC, and you combine that with the talent Miami produces on a yearly basis, you have a recipe for success.
