It’s not that they hate Miami top players take the best deals. And it looks crazy in Florida because a lot of top players exodus sfla in numbers. So it stands out because top programs go into sfla and take. You think Cooper who grew up loving Miami wants to choose Texas? They gave him no choice and Miami gave him no choice. Problem our fans have is they can’t separate fandom from being a player, if you were in their shoes and grew up like them you are not picking Miami idc how much you love the u. Once you’re able to see that then you can understand. One thing you love more than Miami is your mom and dad. End of story

For HS I am worried about the lines of scrimmage and getting physical freaks at WR and TE.

QB and RB you can portal poach proven guys and seems like the DB market for South Florida DBs who go elsewhere and prove themselves then come back (Stevenson, Lucas, Daryl Porter, Jaden Davis) might be better value than the HS market.

DT has to be HS and we can’t compete. If we have a successful season watch us go vs one of those dominant teams and get manhandled because of it. I think our defense will be improved cause the secondary but in the middle it looks bad imo. The edge’s look pretty fine and have potential. But with Scott losing all that weight let’s see if he is strong this season. I would rather have Messi inside cause I don’t like two big DE that aren’t known for running. But at least we have options there.


But if we do not fix DT some coach has to be replaced to pick up the DT recruiting, or just out bag/NIL the big time programs. If not just don’t try and win cause you won’t.

Bad game day coach? Yes. Just like everyone from the past two decades. People ragged on Richt but he won some legit games. Even he lost to schools he shouldn’t have. A lot.

Mario’s replacement will be equally bad. Likely a worse recruiter but possibly better on game day.
