So, your hope is that Miami will decide it is not interested in Mario if he loses on Friday? Personally, I was hoping they'd go after Mike Stoops, but I see he just signed an extension.

I get people wanting Mario, but I think Lane would turn us around faster and our offense would be deadly. Back in the day, I voted for Leach and look how Lashlee's version of the Air Raid did.

Mario definitely had an offensive philosophy that he preferred. Thankfully he seems to have found a good balance with Dawson. We’re a 100% Air Raid passing offense but our running game is 100% what Mario wants to do. We’re probably the only Air Raid team ever that does what we do in the run game.

Except oddly, we don't use it when it would benefit us the most, like up 21-3 @ Syracuse. You had to try and lose that game.

Very similar to having a safety that might help Miami not lose a few games, but not really add to winning any games.

I get what you’re trying to say but running the ball more would not have stopped Syracuse from scoring every possession. Slowing the game down and lowering the overall number of possessions only works if you get stops on defense. Otherwise you still lose, just in a lower scoring game.
