Great group of young players at the skill positions and that's without even seeing Schott. Should be easy to pitch a transfer qb to play with them and our oline. He doesn’t get enough targets. Our freshmen skill guys are gonna be really good.
That one was definitely an intentional back shoulder throw. Just watch Moore.I'm not sure about that. Maybe. But I would think there wouldn't be so much air under it if it was a back shoulder throw.
I think Beck's arm is just not strong. And I think it is because he never fully recovered from the injury.

How about those Freshmen receivers? Toney an AA, Moore making contested catches, Upshaw making guys miss in a phone booth. Combine them with the guys coming in and we're going to be very good for years to come.
I am fully aware of Back-Shoulder throws. Joshua Moore had a stride on the DB. Let him runaway with it.It's called a back shoulder throw. It's supposed to be placed where he's placing it.
Exactly Moore and Beck should be working those back shoulders after every practice. It’s essentially an unguardable playHe’s fine. Just took a hard fall. No worries at all.
Was really nice to see them take some back shoulder shots to him. We need more of that. These teams are playing 13 guys in the box against us, punish them for it. That kid has really good body control, he’s a strong hands catcher of the football, and he’s huge. Use those skills.
AgreeWe need to find him or someone vertically down that boundary side more often. It changes how Safeties line up and the pressure a defensive coverage feels.
Carr needs to get more burn. He cooked that cb by 10 yards and had a couple catches and showed explosive ability. I’d like to see more to judge him going into next year . Him with 1, 3, 10, 15 and others would be a nice young group.
I have a wild idea so bear with me , how about taking the GD te’s off the field more and playing actual athletes in space ? I know that’s crazy.I know nothing about his situation, but I’d be shocked if he isn’t back in the portal just based on PT and numbers. I agree with you though, just don’t know who he plays over right now.

Makes sense. He played a great game yesterday. Great to see he didn't succumb to the yips after the UL horror show. Hope he finishes the year strong and gets drafted in a good spotBeck said post game he feels 100% and he's just now getting in timing with the receivers. Missing spring and limited throwing in the summer slowed that development.
Been saying this, get your athletes on the field and play with space . Pringle and Lyle would eat in spaceI have a wild idea so bear with me , how about taking the GD te’s off the field more and playing actual athletes in space ? I know that’s crazy.

I’m glad that you said this. I asked about Carr a few times earlier in the season, and eventually I stopped asking. He and Upshaw both need to be seeing more snaps. They are both talented guys that can make big plays.Carr needs to get more burn. He cooked that cb by 10 yards and had a couple catches and showed explosive ability.
