Montrell Johnson Hurt

My two cents that's just a tweet to see if they throw people off base. Not many injuries to your knee require nothing but arthroscopic and week to week. Something like that isn't an injury. It's cleaning up scar tissue.

Look, they posted those tweets because they didn't want people to make fun of them for posting the actual Gator doctor's prognosis...

...which says that Montrell will be back in 72 hours, better, stronger, and faster than he ever was...

Mario’s first year was a plethora of injuries.
Nobody gave sht and they said we suck.
Last year tvd gets hurt and our dline was a skeleton…. Nobody gave a sht and we underachieved and our coach sucks.

It’s one player. Fck them if they’re not deep enough.

Also, even if it’s a partial tear there is no way he’s 100 percent by the 31 st. And if he is ready to play, It would be stupid of them to make him the feature back and give him 20 to 30 carries.

I don't want these bums to have any excuses. Hope he recovers quickly and is full go by 8/31 3:30pm
I don't care if they all get dysentery from drinking out of the retention pond, I just want to win. If every single one of them is 100% healthy and the refs give them every call, they'll still find a way to not accept that they suck.

Because that's what whiny little ******* do.

Sounds like Montrell might be ahead of schedule with the estimated recovery timeline following arthroscopic knee surgery. It’s either that or Napier is blowing smoke up our skirts becase Floriduh insiders are saying he’s probable for the game and might start.

Good. He ain’t in game shape and he ain’t ready. I hope they throw him out there after not practicing all camp. Has he been hit once since November? Put his *** out there.

Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but I'm thinking his injury could have been embellished a little. UF knows how important this game is as well.

Agreed. He cannot be in game shape and hasn’t taken a live hit since spring. He might provide an emotional boost to the team, but unlikely to directly impact the game in any meaningful way.

He’s not that good anyway

He's been their leading rusher the past 2 seasons and he's the best they've got. I don't think anyone is saying he's Barry Sanders, but if he's out or limited, they are a worse team. I want them to lose 100-0 this week and every week for the duration of the program until the university implodes into itself and is swallowed up by the earth, so yeah I hope he doesn't play or limps his fairy *** through the game.

On their site they are saying that 3 players have had excellent practices and have really opened eyes:

-RB JaKobi Jackson ... has been getting a lot of snaps with the 1's.
-OL Roderick Kearney
-S Greg Smith III

I wouldn't expect any RB that had just had either a procedure or was rested to heal something tweaked ... to have a major role in the game.

They are claiming they are playing him. If he plays, I don't expect much from him. We will see.
