Guessing Indiana airport by the Indiana University sign in the background. Will be interesting to see if they can actually keep top talent like this home. Sports Illustrated says they are in his top two alongside Alabama

Sales visited Miami during the season and also spent time in South Florida last month.
....
The visit was different,” Sales said. “The game and the fans was a crazy environment and then the next morning we got to meet with the position coach and to see how he coach and develops. Then met with Coach Cristobal and had a real good meeting with him.”

Beard gotta step it up.

Elite teacher and technician, but his recruiting aint it. Loses these kind of battles too consistently.

Need him to reel in a whale this cycle.
The revolving door at QB and lack of team success, before this season, has been tough for him. Mensah is an amazing QB but your asking a HS kid to trust that you'll pull another Mensah type next year, not impossible he plays 2 years IMO, and another the year after that.

I think Josh Moore is gonna be a great player. Between him, Toney, Wingo, Parris, Mueller (we better use him as flex 10P to 11P TE) I think the receiving corp will be great in 2027.

Most of the teams in the playoffs had revolving doors at QB.

Also, I understand that some think Beard isn't a great salesman. But look at our WR room - it's absolutely loaded. Moore, Toney, and Upshaw all came last year before we knew we'd have Carson. For the 2026 group, Wingo, Parris, Spafford all committed w/o knowing who the QB would be. Then a few weeks ago, both Vaughn and Jacobs committed before we knew we'd have Mensah.

Someone on our staff is doing a good job of selling these guys on being here.

I agree.

Did Beard not have any part in bringing in Wingo or Parris? Both were top 10-15 wrs. Would it be nice to have a top 1-2 WR? Sure, but I’m not sweating the WR recruiting anymore, especially with Toney, Upshaw, Moore and Wingo/Parris.

Trending up 100.
