Yup. Can't call it a rebuild when you were part of the prior regime and all of the players on defense are yours. And then not expect this to happen.

This can’t be real. Absolutely laughable. Kid is nowhere near ready for NFL. Might as well just announce you’re dropping out of school because that’s the reality.

You think these top teams just have elite players? No they have the Brandy’s of the world as backups, which they prosper in. Which is exactly what Bandy would have done if he had gone to Oklahoma like he should have instead of getting fooled by Diaz
 
Bandy put his heart and soul in the program. And came here when he could have easily gone to Oklahoma.

Whenever the camera was on him on the sidelines he was trying to pick up teammates who were ****ting the bed (Jarren, even ******* Baxa).

Jokes on everyone else when we’re playing a freshman or walk on next year because of the corches

Hardly ****ting on the kid. At face value I think it's a stupid, incredibly shortsighted decision and he'll likely go undrafted and struggle to get signed to a practice squad let alone make a 53 man roster. For his sake I hope I'm wrong. Now, if he's doing this solely for family reasons, I'm not gonna tell another man how to put food on his table.

My post was a snapshot of his career at UM. He was the centerpiece of one of our best moments as a program since 2001 as a true frosh, then showed flashes or brilliance mixed will lulls of inconsistent play for the next two years.

The kid has heart and plays with passion but that doesn't get you drafted. His measurables and tape dont scream "spend a late round draft pick on me". But hey, good luck to him.

Oh, and flexing while getting our asses kicked is part of the problem. Has been for a long time.

This is sad. I really liked Bandy as a player & the fact he feels this is the best situation for his future shows how truly bad our program is at the moment. He might ruin his playing career taking this chance & then have no degree to show for it. Just sad man. He could have came back had a stellar senior campaign made an All-ACC Team like he was capable of & then had a degree on top of all of that. Then most likely get drafted. Fück.
 
Bandy is not getting drafted to be a boundary cb. He’s a nickel that can tackle. So he’ll prolly played safety and nickel. He’ll be ok. Also could always come back and get his degree for free.
 
If this season record is the reason why players are not staying 1 more year while schools who are similar situation USC, UCLA, & even FSU are not having players jumping ship to early.

bc hes a florida black guy. which is even more pathetic on your part, and flat out weird. he sucks at his job but people like you want to keep him bc u “like him” and then wonder why the team is horrible.
 
Anyone who posts about “not getting a degree” needs to be banned.

He can get the degree for free at ANY time. Its how UM rolls. He risks nothing but a possible better draft status.

Secondly, a degree in whatever nonsense program most football players get from a university that is not even top 50 in the nation isnt exactly some great consolation prize. Horrible coaching has cost more of our players careers than decisions to leave early.
 
Dumph has to go. He has proven he’s the single worst recruiter EVER at UM. It’s so bad they use the brideless Groom Panda to recruit for him. How much of an awful personality must you have to not be able to get CBs in MIAMI? He was a first round pick that played at Miami and it still doesn’t help him.
For the record: Blades/Bandy we’re coming regardless. Ivey/Frierson had Panda as the primary. Rumph recruited Bethel who sucked and transferred. Rumph has recruited Williams, Couch, and Clarke IN 3 YEARS.

So now we are left with an empty cupboard at CB. It’ll be difficult to even practice in the spring if there’s any injuries...just like last year. Not even the biggest slurper here can justify him keeping his job.

I hope the people who keep ****ting on the coaches don’t watch the games next year. It’s not going to be any better. We have been a bottom tier team for years and some of y’all expect this to change. I personally think Miami is going to continue to be who they’ve been the last 20 years. I’ll still watch and pull for Diaz to turn it around. I’ll also in 2021 pull for the new coaching staff to turn it around.
