Monroe says Bandy to the NFL

Just like Garvin making a real foolish decision

You only get one shot at this man be as ready... as strong and as fast as you can be going in

These kids just want that pay day..average NFL career is how long?

3 years, but that number is so low because you have all these guys that are only in the league for a cup of coffee. It makes much more sense getting coached by an actual good coach and getting drafted early.

So if Bandy declares, We will have Blades, Ivey, Couch, Williams, and Clarke That is absolutely terrible. Clarke is 100% a redshirt candidate who is very raw, Ivey is to unathletic and inconsistent, we hope Willimas and Couch are ready, and Blades is the only CB we can really rely on. That is terrible and Rumph should be fired for that ****. Now UM might needs to definitely need to bring in a Juco or Grad Transfer and probably add 2 more high school CB prospects. This situation does not call for UM to just add another athlete, Thayer need to be looking for high floor guys who can come in and compete/contribute immediately. UM should be looking at De'arre McDonald and Isiah Dunson.

You have no idea if Adrian wouldn't have made that same step with numerous other CB coaches. Same with Mike.
I have a pretty good idea..Adrian wasn’t even starting at Texas bro. There are soo many players who can play in the NFL who never get the chance. Either from miss use at the college level or not getting a real shot when they leave college..in this case bandy can only hurt his chances by leaving early with the season he had

What they have to realize now is alot of teams have been putting an emphasis on what's between the ears, not just pure athleticism, and if a guy like bandy declares early, one itll show he's not a good decision maker in their eyes, #2, itll show he's desparate, so they'll slow play em, his agent might front him $30,000 at best, #3, itll show he's not hungry, as oppose to staying 1 more year, showing leadership, getting his degree, i know he wants to bet on himself, but its been proven, nfl guys will take a bigger chance on using a pick to draft 4year guys than the 3rd year, non-accoladed guys. Now should garvin had stayed another year, he could've have, but garvin did all the other things he needed to show in his game, like being a run stopper, his qb pressures were real high and that alone will impress scouts, his 1st year being on the strongside and he put in that kind of work, but also, he has film that showed what he can do agsinst 1st round o-linemen, so his body of work and upside is their. He more than likely wont be on the strong side in the nfl, but he'll definitely be a weakside d-end that wrecks havoc. Keep in mind people his tackles for loss over the last 2 years, he was running neck & neck with gw3 last year. He's a guy a gm will feel they can bring em in, and he can give them a strong 5 to 8 year run.

But bandy on the other hand, again i know he'll bet on himself, but right now, he might want to think about it, and if coach diaz is smart, he'll leave coach rumph alone. If he starts axing competent coaching over recruiting, the handwriting for him will be on the wall.

Actually seeing him run away from Rumph should tell them, he has a very high IQ.

I've been reading a ton of college football for years. This seems to be a constant problem with middle to lower tier teams. Amazing how the great teams don't have this problem and THEY'RE the ones who have the potential high draft picks who stay.

Ya, but its not like if Rumph was Texas coach he would magically be starting.

Staying for a senior year is not always the best case. Did it help Pinckney? I seriously Doubt it.

Did it hurt him either?

And I think it helped Pinck he looked to have lost his sophomore and Jr year GUT he had

These kids just want to get that nfl money, has nothing to do with the staff and I wish People will quit with that. You have a problem when Clemson can get 3 potential first rounders to come back compared to where our day 3 picks feel so compelled with just leaving as soon as possible even with a year of bad film(bandy/garvin/Thomas).
60% money and 40% is the state of the program. It’s easier to convince a player to stay when the program is in a good state. It is what it is at this point. Hope they all ball out!!

Now Rumph isn’t a actual coach? Lmao..he’s not qualified to have a College position coach job? His group of DBs haven’t performed?..**** lol..Rumph who’d get a DB coach job quickly if Miami let him go

Idk what’ your getting at with that point..but when a coach clearly has successful guy in his group gotta give him credit. Because when they struggle like ivey did this year y’all certainly give him the blame.. as for bandy, he had to play out of position imo for us this year
