While I try to understand where these kids are coming from, it just seems so short sighted. I guess he thinks another year won’t get him more money and better draft position. It’s sad to see he has to take this gamble to provide for family. I hope it works out for him.

yup just posted the same thing. He doesn’t see any positive impact in staying. Wether he is right or not is hard to say at this point. He is gambling on himself. I hope it works out

The Phins stripped their roster down to practice squad players in an effort to tank and land a franchise QB. Using them as some example, is uneducated. Plus, there will likely be 10 better CBs that will be drafted that would go ahead of Bandy.

@apfenny3 is an agent and just said that Pinckney wouldn't have even been drafted last year, and has solidified himself as a day 3 pick. That's improvement.

Schools tend to inflate a lot of times that their own players run. Those times aren't executed like they do at the draft.

Our db times have been accurate in recent years. Both Jackson and redwine were timed at high 4.3 guys yet both ran slightly slower than that at 4.44 and 4.45 respectively. Not that much of a difference

I really don't know where @brock is getting this idea that Bandy is some guy that's going to test out of the gym. Bandy had a mediocre year. Is he feisty? Sure. But you need a lot more than feistiness to last. And onto Jackson.....he's not earning a big time NFL contract. Dude's going to make $262k this year. Compared to the average NFL player, that's not that good. Late 5th round picks tend to not last too long in this league.
