Buckle up and prepare to get depressed.

Let's quickly point out the good. It shouldn't take long. We are tied for 3rd in the country in interceptions, which makes sense given the talent back there. We're also 28th on 3rd downs.

Now, time for some Doritos. It makes no sense how a defense with this much overall talent can be this awful. It's year 5 and this defense is stacked with playmakers. The below is inexcusable.

Here are the categories we are average to horrendous in:

Big Plays Allowed (20+ yards): 85th
Big Plays Allowed (20+ yards) vs Power 5 teams: 111th

Total Yards Per Game: 61st
Total Yards Per Game vs Power 5 teams: 91st

Total Yards Per Play Allowed: 93rd
Total Yards Per Play Allowed vs Power 5 teams: 96th

Passing Yards Per Game: 51st
Passing Yards Per Attempt: 63rd

Passing Yards Per Game vs Power 5 teams: 86th
Passing Yards Per Attempt vs Power 5 teams: 71st

Rushing Yards Per Game: 66th
Rushing Yards Per Carry: 102nd

Rushing Yards Per Game vs Power 5 teams: 72nd
Rushing Yards Per Carry vs Power 5 teams: 99th

Tackles For Loss: 98th

Opponent Red Zone Conversion %: 104th

Scoring Defense: 41st

Sacks: 48th

What's saving our *** right now is turnovers and that's just the kids overcoming these buffoons that are in love with this broken *** defense they run!!!

off the top of my head, most of the picks are due to HORRIBLE throws by the opposing QB. we do not force any errors

it's due to the fact that Al's philosophy is solely based on HOPING other teams make mistakes and not creating them. The VT fumble early in game is a prime example of it.

its funny that they run a bend but dont break defense and we still rank in the hundreds in big plays allowed

Only in Coral Gables do you get worse at your job and still make millions.

Thanks UM admin and BoT.

The problem is coley, guysm

Guysm, we've had like five TDs called back bros.

Listen Coley is terrible too, but it is unimaginable how bad this D is considering the talent out there. VT is terrible and we made their RB look like Walter Payton. Clemson is going to humiliate this D on Saturday, I'd be shocked if this game is close.

Send the stats to every media outlet! Golden is all smoke and mirrors which equates to BS!
