This idiot always looking for a headline. If you listen to the presser, the question was asked and answered - such as it was. There was NO “pressed” about it. Whoever the reporter was asked the question, Manny answered it and that was it.

I mean, I’m not really upset with the defense all too much. They did a pretty decent job given the situations they were put in. Bama’s time of possession was 37 minutes compared to ours at 23 minutes. Tackling was atrocious, but we had multiple guys near the ball on the majority of plays, we were creating consistent pressure but just couldn’t get home and get the sack. I think against any team that isn’t Bama or Clemson we are going to be good on defense.

This is actually worse than saying, “yes we were being too conservative.” This means he actually thought running it straight at Bama was gonna work. What a joke.
 
After listening to Manny and Lashlee today it's very apparent to me that not only are they both liars but INCOMPETENT at their jobs. The play calling by Lashlee wasn't even up the high school standard and was ULTRA CONSERVATIVE. There is no doubt in my mind that Manny is going to get canned at the end of this season. These two clowns are way over their heads and I feel sorry for the young men that have to put their faith in them. The response by Manny after having prepared for 8 months was absolutely atrocious. I would have called a meeting with him today if I was AD and tell that rhetoric is unacceptable and BS. Another game like that and you're fired. Take a look at the starts with NC, Alabama, Oklahoma St, and there is one thing in common. We got our asses kicked early because the team wasn't prepared. MANNY IS A TOTAL FRAUD! If you believe UM is going to win the division more power to you and drink some more of Manny's poison. These kids deserve MUCH BETTER! I hope Joe Rose can ask him some tough questions tomorrow morning. Last night was a total debacle. We have talent but the coaching is abysmal.

Thats just a silly take dude. Not every game is the same. Do you think Clemson showed up against BC at 12 pm with the same focus and attention as Miami , at night , game of the day , everyone watching and asking ” is Miami back ? Are they a threat to Clemson?

Of course Bama will have closer games but it’s not apples to apples. These are 18-23 year old kids who get up for games and don’t get up for games. Even if Bama does come out uninterested and flat they’ll still roll people by two or three td’s.

Theres a reason a good amount of Clemson’s and Bama’s losses leave you scratching your head, It’s normally not the games where they expect to be challenged. It‘s either in the playoff or an enormous upset. Then people like you will come in here like”dude we suck, Bc would totally roll us, they hung with Clemson“.

It’s silly , just like when people say because team A killed team B and team C challenged team A that means team C should beat team B. It doesn’t work that way.

Like I said “ It’s not apples and apples”.

Lol Lashlee wasn’t being conservative that’s just who he is… his entire philosophy is illogical run plays back to back leading to wasted drives regardless of the score in hopes of pulling off one big gotcha play later in the game after we already down 30 points.

Agreed. Not sure why people don't understand that when we see examples every year. Just last year we dominated FSU who beat UNC. Well that means easy win for Miami against UNC right? Nope, they ran us off the field and we let the set a school record yards against on our field.

Lol This is the same Miami team that got dominated by teams that are nowhere near Bamas level. That was a completely different Bama team and it was obvious that amateur coaching and scheme were the main reasons we looked so pathetic against them. That response is weak, can’t wait for Manny to be fired before the end of the season.
