Mopes have the same ego until Wednesday’s when the football analysts on the board debunk 3/4ths of their *****ing frame by frame.

The problem is the people that want to sit in the middle and have to deal with all the bull****, knowing the program sucks, but not wanting to hear about in every thread. Especially when half of it is inaccurate emotional vomit presented as facts, rebuffed by emotional responses.

I must have missed the debunking of Alabama. I’ll be patiently waiting for this AppSt debunking.
 
It's pretty weird how one side wants to silence the other. Just put people on ignore if it bothers you so much

I may think the people who still believe in Manny are out of their minds, but I don't want them banned or restricted from posting threads. Especially not the OGs who have been here for 10 years plus

Where's the fun in everyone agreeing with you?

I didn’t come up with either name but I played a major role in promoting it as Mopes vs Slurpers in a series of gifs. If I had to guess, I’d say @OriginalGatorHater came up with Slurpers and @Go Canes!! came up with Mopes. @Dwinstitles was an early user of the slurper term and I think Go Canes started saying mopes because of Dwins.
 
I guess ima be in the crowd slurping Ole Manuela until the wheels fall off..major pause here if applicable

This is exactly what the problem is. It’s the group that vomits it everywhere and then cries about their rights to have an opinion. They don’t have a right to destroy the board for the 80% in the middle, thread by thread.

Quite frankly, it’s pretty frustrating for the Maude’s. We’ve worked hard to clean this place up and now we’re supposed to just watch a small group destroy that because they’re entitled to shît in every ******* thread?

The slurpers who want to silence opinion contrary to theirs and who have aggressively gone after people in here during the off-season are the bully slurpers and they’re a problem in their own right. The people who vomit Manny hate in every unrelated thread non-stop are extreme mopes and they’re a problem. Both harm the board in their own ways.

Right now, we’ll just ban the extremes if they incessantly ruin threads. I’m not going to force 100’s of people to use ignore all over the place when we can just take out 5-10 problems and be mostly done with it.

I am, and I disagree.
Season tix holders have a voice within Hecht whereas random posters do not. Believe me, I'm not afraid to speak up.
Even though I don't like what's going on, I've got too much invested in the program over the last 44 years to just walk away, and i'm not talking about just $.

See you at HRS when you think the 'Canes are good enough.

I love the slurpers and the mopers and the few normal people on here. **** would be boring otherwise. Only thing that drives me nuts is politics, which we don't really have here anymore.
