Uniforms: Throwback?

Our program is clearly heading in a more modern direction and our appearance should reflect that; maybe use the throwbacks we wear now as an alternate. Under Nike Miami was an innovator when it came to uniform appearance but Mark Richt sent the whole program back to the 80's with Adidas. We need any advantage we can get, and believe it or not, up-to-date uniforms is a factor when it comes to high school recruits deciding on a school (unless you're Bama and have the bags). Look at Oregon, uniforms are a big reason they are a national brand.

Does Manny D/Blake James tell Adidas the vision they have for our uniforms and Adidas produces it or how does that work?

Wow, you missed the whole thing. By modern, Manny means going back to what we were. College football has regressed to where it was when Howard came along— controlled by big conference win inning NCs with boring football. He wants go back to want we were to destroy what they were again. Follow?

Nike is the one and only. But those ones are strait ugly imo. 2014 style was cool especially vs Virginia t all white.

You know what schools are REAL Effin’ brands? Bama, Texas, LSU, USC, Penn State, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan and Ohio State. Do any of them ever abandon their classic looks for more than a game or two? No they do not. **** on Oregon!

I'd love to see them for one game go back to the old school uniforms from the 1960s (with the hurricane warning flag on the helmet). I think they did once in 2004.

Don't forget Clemson and Oklahoma who have been wearing the same uniforms since the dawn of time. Our goal at Miami isn't to become Oregon east.

Reading is a skill. I mentioned the occasional deviations in my post. Once or twice a year is fine. Doing some Oregon type junk is not IMHO.

They roll them out for a game or two every season. But yes, maybe you should put every season at the end of your porst.

Current uniforms are excellent I would love to return to the 2000-2003 uniforms as those are the uniforms I remember as a kid when we had a 34 game win streak lol but being as that can’t happen I think our current uniforms are the next best thing.

I wouldn't mind actually, but I am all for winning first.

Also, with CMR gone, one arm sleeves and more accessories should be worn by players. CMR didn't like all that.

Just a heads up for the fashionistas here: The players choose the uniform colors they wear for each game. If they're wearing green/green with striped tube socks, it's because that's what they voted to wear. We're talking about 18-22 year old kids here.

The players didn't Choose those hideous tube socks.
