18 current commits:
RB Lorenzo Lingard
RB Camron Davis
WR Daquris Wiggins
WR Brian Hightower
WR Mark Pope
TE Brevin Jordan
TE Will Mallory
OL Delone Scaife
OL Cleveland Reed
OL John Campbell
DT Nesta Silvera
DE Gregory Rousseau
CB D.J. Ivey
CB/S Gilbert Frierson
CB/S Al Blades
S Josh Jobe
S Gurvan Hall
K Bubba Baxa

I don’t think we see any more Decommits
Players I think we add:

QB Jarren Williams-DT W/ ability to run RPO
FB Realus George-Nasty blocker with wiggle to run the ball if needed
WR Tyquan Thornton- I think if we make another run at him we could land him.
OL Jalen Goss- Don’t know much about him but I think think he rounds out our class at Tackle

DE Andrew Chatfield- Can be a key reserve while here I think more Trent Harris
DE/DT Mike Boykin JC- will be a 3 tech replacement
DT Jared Goldwire JC- will be a 1 tech replacement
DT Dennis Briggs- I don’t think he runs to Tallahassee with the house on fire
LB Patrick Joyner/or LB Jamien Sherwood- I think it’s first come first serve, with Joyner w/ most potential & Sherwood w/ most athleticism
CB Tyson Campbell - one of the key pieces to reflect where we are going in recruiting, 3 year player w/ 1 round potential

I have ya bringing in 10 more players which would bring us to 28 w/ attrition & early draft entries this class should fill all our needs

Don't think we go after Thornton again, our WR might be set with the exception of a national stud wanting in and us making room for him

Solid list otherwise. Didn't we have some other names at OL as well, or am I making that up?

UL fans and coaches are going to hate us if we flip both their DT commits,LOL they've been committed for months too.

It would be cool to get another surprise like Jeff Thomas last year, dare I say surtain?

2017
Thomas (Feb 1)
Herbert (Jan 25)
Harley (Feb 1)
D Smith (mid-December)

2016
Bethel (mid-Dec)
Haskins (Jan)
Finley (Feb)
Young(Jan)

Guessing we will have a few good surprises when the real recruiting season starts next month.

Yeah, I think he falls into that Nigel Bethel category of ya should've committed when you had the chance...we moved on. This offer means something now.

I think if we add another WR, it's gonna be a new National name that pops up late, similar to Thomas last year. Ship sailed on Thornton.

We'll add the following: 1 QB, 1 FB, 1 OT, 3 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB and potentially 1 more WR if it's a cant miss guy.

I think we take a 4th receiver and Thornton is the best available in SoFla, and we could always lose more guys to transfer in the spring.
I might be a little too optimistic on Boykin but we definitely need Goldwire at that 1 tech losing both Norton & Moten

Nah man.. Thornton is 6'3, smooth, and has ability to stretch the field w/ good hands. He is definitely a take IMO. You can't find much of those that aren't being heavily recruited.

Also why can't we just get close up with Bonnito and Joyner at LB. I don't want Sherwood dude is just to stiff to play in Manny's scheme. Manny needs speed above all else in his scheme. We saw Manny's scheme at it best with more speed on the field. We need hybrid/Ryan Shaizer type LBs. Guys who don't look massive big but can run, turn on a dime, and are physical.

If Mullins is gone, Thornton should be back in play...
