Mob mentality gets old

Richt is not a winner, and that fact is obvious to any honest broker without skin in the game. He’s a man that was fired for non performance from a P5 school with tremendous resources, and the exact same trends and issues that got him fired from UGA continue here at Miami.

College coaches that were fired for non performance have never, ever won anything meaningful at other destinations. And we happily threw $4M to that guy. It’s insane!
Will Muschamp, anyone? Tyrone Willingham? Charlie Weiss? Rich Rodriguez?

He has win only 2 conference titles in 18 years as a HC (one more conference title than Ralph Friegden) and those are statistical outliers/ breaks from the norm; 9-10 wins per annum are a reversion to the mean.

Was his firing at UGA after a 15 year stint, a result of “growing pains”? He’s old, outdated, far too rigid with his system, and not capable of developing and coaching a championship level product.

Great coaches and leaders are both flexible and responsive with their decision making. Richt is neither, and he’s incapable of adapting to the facts on the ground. Bad traits for any leader!

He’ll continue to bang away at that square peg until fits into that round hole, consequences be damned.

Richt is a good person, but the road to football **** is paved with good intentions.

Someone who simply doesn’t understand the game of football. You scheme around your deficiencies. Bad o-line? Maybe don’t run plays that take 10 seconds to develop out of the pistol/gun. ****** QB? Give him easy throws. More screens, more bootlegs & easy dumps to the flats. How many times have you seen guys go in motion in 3 years? How many jet sweeps have we ran? You think these teams like Boise State that win 10 games every single year have better players then us? Nope not even close but they have much much much better coaching. There is no excuse to have bad special teams at Miami yet we have the absolute worst. Many small things that an average joe like me picks up on that a guy who coached 30+ years of major football does not? He’s either lazy or the game has flat out passed him up. Your choice. Either way I will continue to voice my opinion that a change has to be made until it is made. I demand excellence as a Miami Hurricanes fan & will not settle for one inkling less.

That's where the line should be drawn. Everything else is fine. Maybe some of it may be subjectively seen as unproductive, but it isn't 'despicable' to be passionate and voice an opinion.

This^^^ Travis Homer publicly asked for fans to stop tweeting or tagging at players with all the negative stuff. Fans need to respect this. There are a few people on social media who are out of control.

Being a HC here should either already know or is told of the job description and all that goes with it. When you take the multi-million dollar contract , get a nice house in the Gables , free this ,free that and many other incidentals .

We don't give a hoot , they get paid an unreal salary.......DEAL WITH IT.

We all would love to have his salary and lifestyle , he gets cut loose he's still a multimillionaire for the rest of his life......OH WHAT A HEARTSHIP GEEEZ.

I just don't have a soft spot for wealthy people who complain or blame others.

I've done this more than once....

One of my salesmen will every so often come in and play the blame game and poor me something isn't going there enabled way with me , I stop them in there tracks and do this.

You have a $50,000.00 truck we pay for, an expense account we pay for, gas card we pay for, you work what ever hours you need to get the job done, $150 K plus salary you really don't earn , profit sharing, end of year bonus , end of year boggie sales kicker ,401K and other incidentals perks.

GET THE **** OUT OF MY OFFICE AND TRY AND SELL SOMETHING OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Try selling something. I’ve been a programmer, ceo, and sales guy. I’d gladly go back to programming for 150k knowing deadlines can slip. Ceo has investors up his **** about P&L. Sales guy has quota to hit. If you think his job is easy then quit your job and try it!

We aren’t talking winning the playoffs with this roster. We are talking maintaining at top -15 rankings and beating way way way less taleneted teams. If you are losing to the likes of UVA and BC with more talent now, then adding more talent isn’t a justifiable excuse. Richt’s offensive staff is failing. Anyone who doesn’t see that, doesn’t want to see that. I like Richt and at this point I’m not sure he would even make a great CEO considering that he thinks the players have played with good energy the past few weeks and that would be problem even with a great OC.

Definitely agree. Put away the pitchforks. Don't have a QB, need OL talent, no punter, playing a lot of freshmen..lost 2 great players to neck injuries, the list goes on. Does anyone really think we have the talent right now to compete with Clemson or Alabama? LOL I agree, tweak that offense! It's homecoming on Sat. & we'll be there! GO CANES!
