MJJ's top 7

People can bash Lincoln all they want, but two things are worth pondering:

1. Nebraska LOVES their football. That is a fantastic environment to play college ball in. If you've been there, you know.
2. So Scott Frost is recruiting you as a dual threat QB in a dual threat QB offense? Hard not to pay attention to that, plus he can flat out recruit.

Love football? Nothing else there except cow tipping and picking corn.

Maybe he likes corn.

I was hoping we were going to really recruit Spencer Rattler from Phoenix. We just can't put all of the eggs in the MJJ basket. I haven't had a good feeling about him for a minute. The QB board is becoming thin. I mean, unless we start recruiting the **** out of Grant Gunnell from TX (a state known for producing top tier QBs), we might be left w/o a QB. I feel b/c we put so much stock in the MJJ basket, we're going to be left hanging.
this was basically everyones complaint when we didn't recruit Taisun.

Basically, we better land MJjr.

Ivins said he is waiting to see if he actually visits Penn State and/or Nebraska before make the CB.

I agree about Nebraska. I think this could be the real dark horse. MJJ called Frost "an offensive genius"
Hopefully he takes an official to Penn State, Nebraska, and the U in December! Then it’s a no brained!

Nebraska sorry you lost me and nope I've never been.

Don’t know shlt about this Texas QB, but he sure has a QB name

I believe he's the No. 3 pro-style QB. Right now he's open. OSU is projected to lead but not by much.
Freshman Year threw for 1447 on 66% completion 16 TDs/4ints
Sophmore Year threw for 4973 on 70% completion 65 TDs/11 ints
Junior Year threw for 4936 on 71% completion 61 TDs/6 ints

Looks good, but honestly, so hard to tell with Texas recruits or a lot of out of state, especially QBs, since I don’t know the level of competition.

New update on this kid: he is one of Oregon's top prospects and he is VERY interested. Going back for another visit. I think the story is now he doesn't seem to be a fit for OSU offensive scheme.

F!!! Why are we not recruiting a kid who continues to get better completing the ball? He's open, man. He's willing to leave the state. I'm not understanding why we are not on him.

True, but as far as states that produce the best quality of future NFL QBs, Texas leads the nation. (Luck, Stafford (which is why I'm surprised at Richt not going after this guy right now), Keenum, Dalton and of course Brees)

Georgia about to take that mantle soon

California and PA have both produced plenty of QBs - including HOF QBs.

California always has the numbers - easy with a population of 40 million and counting.

Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are two of the better ones recently - both from northern CA.

PA has 6 HOF QBs from the Pittsburgh area - including our own Jim Kelly.

Good point.

Gunnell plays against very weak private school comp in Texas, and his HS has been loaded in comparison to other schools.

Not saying he can't play, but I'm not sure his stats are as impressive as they might seem. Look up his WR Bryson Jackson's HUDL. A lot of Gunnell throwing screens that the WR takes 80 yards.

More impressed with Graham Mertz to be honest, would hope we pick things up with him

I love Mertz

MJJ posted Prom pictures in the Oregon Stadium.... on the field. Sure, his Dad works there but I thought it was an interesting post. Odd place to take proms pictures! Hope it wasn't a hint. Thought I would share.

Oregon just landed a 3 Star qb Cale Millen. Don’t know if they wanna take 2 but this should mean good news for us.
