Mizzou

Honestly, this type of infraction is happening everywhere outside of the top 20 or 30 academic institutions in the nation. Yes, it's even happening at UM. I remember during an open discussion period in my Health Disparities class there was a girl in my class who tutored some of the football players. She said some of the players she tutored couldn't read, write, or do simple arithmetic. Think about how crazy that is. I'm pretty sure there are posters on this board who can attest to this.

The NCAA needs to get a grip and stop picking and choosing when to enforce their rules. How does UNC make up classes, literally don't exist classes and they get no post season ban?

Here is the issue. Mizzou's AD admitted to infractions and self incriminated the school. Had that beta kept his mouth shut and squashed the tutor like a bug like most SEC schools would do nothing would have happened.

But isn't that exactly why UNC skated or at least the NCAA's reasoning behind it was they self reported their stuff?

The crazy part is that North Carolina had made up classes, tests for those classes graded by an admin, got caught and they walk away like all is fine. The NCAA says it's because it was self reported. Ridiculous.

A reporter asked the question to one of the people on the board that made the decision. She said something to the extent of are you saying it is better to say nothing and take your chances in a case like this and the guy said something like had their not self reported this could very well of ended up differently.

Evidently when you self report and admit to certain violations there is penalties that are mandatory so Mizzou got their teeth kicked in. Id fire that ******* AD.

Nope..get this. The reason UNC skated was brought up in this case. They said since those classes benefited all the student body and not just athletes it was different.

Haha yea just read that. I got nothing on that line of reasoning.

Portal gonna be resembling refugee encampment under I95 in Miami during early 1980s. Time to bring some cots and MREs.
Perfect as that was one of the beginning scenes in Scarface, which seems to be a major subplot here.

I don't think Kelly Bryant cares. He wasn't going to Mizzou with any dreams of postseason glory. He went to Mizzou to put up stats in hopes of catching the eyes of the NFL the way Lock has.
