This feels like a sneaky good pickup
Better shooter than expected. Also I think very versatile with his heightThis feels like a sneaky good pickup
LMAO EPIC
Another player who can really pose a threat shooting threes is still needed imo.Get Lewis, a wing shooter, and a backup big and the top 10 in rotation would be looking solid.
He kind of reminds me of a higher upside version of Anthony Lawrence. From the highlights, a few things stand out.
First, he is a really good passer, even from the high post which Missouri seemed to like running with him, especially on the back cuts. I hope we see some of that next season. He is also willing to get the “hockey assist”.
Second, he has an old school/old man’s game. Good footwork in the post, deliberate pump fakes, physically strong but not explosive off the ground.
Third, he looked good shooting but clearly did not shoot many 3’s because the defense was playing WAY off of him. But that just takes reps when the form is good.
He looks like a classic “glue” player whose numbers don’t jump out at you but he makes a lot of good plays that win games. Hockey assists are made by players like this. Teams need this type of player to win games. Everyone can’t just play to showcase their talent for the draft. We had so much of that on last year’s team.
