Half of what we saw in this brawl were cheap shots. Hockey is almost always a 1 on 1 fight, you don't see teammates come by and slash a guy with their skates while he's down.

And i havent seen many basketball brawls, unless you're talking about the criminal nature of artest punching fans in the stands
