Missing Jeff Thomas today and all year

I heard if Jeff Thomas were around, the Orange Bowl would still be up, the Cleveland Gary fumble and Terry Porter calls would be reversed, and Vinny hands the ball off 40 times in the Fiesta Bowl. I swear, some of you are going full Uncle Rico by proxy.

Horrible holding call on a long Harris run, too.
Yep a combo of things you could pick up. Wasn't just the punt muff. Yes that turned the mo but that wasn't the deciding factor. People would kill to have JT, Berrios, or KJ on returns this entire season. 1 muff between those guys.

The amount of effort that went into dealing with this kid by the staff. You’d never believe it.
I commend them for that. Thought he'd be something special here but in the back of my mind I knew a suspension, transfer, or getting kicked off was going to happen. I was shocked as **** he got through freshman year without issues. Not sure if there were any behind the scenes.

Yes very much and I know the Gator punt drop, and the locker room issues

We win this game by 15 with JT on the field
Only if he transferred to OK St and infected their receivers room with discontent, then muffed a punt.

Oh , you’re saying he’d be playing corner? Now it makes sense
No, and understand he had big issues, the Gator game drop, mental problems and all of stated above

All I said we win the game with him playing ... he would have caught all the balls we dropped yesterday and more

Everyone can have their opinion on Jeff Thomas the teammate, and that is justified.

But Jeff Thomas the player...if you think he is not 100xs better than Pope and Wiggins combined, you're bat**** crazy. JT would have caught any of those 5 easy drops between those two clowns.

Half the issue is this board bashes a troubled kid from St Louis...but God forbid someone bashes their beloved Dade county players. The truth is Pope and Wiggins can’t play for **** with pads on. These guys can’t catch, can’t jump, can’t break a tackle and can’t make anyone miss. They are juniors and they still have these issues. They are everything you don’t want in a WR. At some point it doesn’t matter how they play in practice. It matters what they do on gameday. These two should be nothing more than reserve players. Everyone else should be given at least 4-6 games in the two deep before these guys see the field again.
