Missed Holding Call on Louisville TD run..

That’s why we have to win by double digits. Anything close we will get hosed somehow.

This isn't a hold. There were much worse examples on the stretch plays. Roche blew the TFL on this one
They aren’t mutually exclusive. Roche broke containment, over pursued & JP15 got mugged. Simple stuff.

I remember sitting in the 100’s in 2016. Everyone saw the whole season that they wouldn’t call anything at all. Especially against unc.
It has continued and at times it’s just blatant do regard for the rules of the game and our player safety.
Of anyone ever had the time to make a video of all the BS THEY DONT CALL it would be a huge indictment on the acc referees.
It’s not that they’re missing calls they’re are not calling what they see.

I rewatched the game. Lot of missed calls until the beginning of the 4th when I stopped:

Q1 - FG drive by Louisville. Missed blatant hold on #74 (RT for Lvlle) on a first down edge run.

Q1 - Pope catches pass & gets hit late out of bounds on first TD drive (7:30 mark)

Q1 - Mallory long pass Called back. No flinch and no false start on Scaife. Bad call by ref. I guess Scaife farted. (4:38 mark)

Q2 - 11:18 Mark. Left tackle moves and Phillips Jumps. Defense called for Offside. That left tackle moved more than Scaife in the Mallory pass.

Q2 - Next Following play - 66 - LG holds. QB missed wide open TD. Got lucky.

Q2 - 10:12 Mark prior to Jose’s 1st FG. King incomplete pass but on the blitz the defender spears King on the face mask. No call.

Q2 - 7:57 Mark - Pope Fair catch - #7 on Louisville purposely steps on the foot of Pope. Should’ve been 15 yards and player disqualification.

Q2 - 5:49 - Louisville first play after Jose’s 57yd FG - #55 (left guard) with obvious arm pull hold on Roche - play goes for 9 yards

Q2 - 2:00 - Hadley punt - His leg was taken out while in the air. Called a running into kicker. Call would’ve give the Canes 15 yards and a 1st down. TV crew and rules expert agree sir should’ve been 15.

Q3 - first play of the quarter - #66 with obvious shirt hold on Nesta. No call. Run goes for 10 and 1st. On the same play, tight end#83 attempts to take out Jalen Phillips knees on a nasty helmet led cut block attempt and he misses.

Q3 - 11:28 on Louisville TD run - Jalen Phipps badly held by #56.

Q3 - 2nd Louisville possession - #83 doesn’t miss this time and nearly destroys Jalen’s right knee with a dirty chop block

Q3 - 4:19 - LT clear hold on the pass. Blades drops INT.

Q4 - 15:00 - First play - Penalty called for chop blocking called on #66 & #10 while blocking Nesta but on the same play, #83 again with a heat seeking helmet chop block to the right knee of Cam Williams. Someone needed to take this kid out.

Q4 - Very next play, RT #56 with clear hold on Cam. No call. Rush gain of 15 yds.
