Misreading of Why Lil Donna Won't Fire Anyone on the Way Out

It's not because she'd be "stealing" that decision from the new president and that he/she deserves to make the choice. This isn't an AD leaving and an interim AD not wanting to step on future toes (although it didn't stop Fat Tony Hernandez from tryin to hire Tommy Amaker). The new president at a school like UM where football seemingly doesn't even even sniff the top of the admin's priority list isn't made or broken by the athletic department. If anything, Donna would be doing the new president a favor because if the new hire fails then they're not responsible and if they succeed the new pres will still get credit. The former along with a general averison to having to deal with it is why the little fundraiser-in-chief won't do it, not because of any deference to the new president.

And sail out the door ... Her legacy is that she got the school to be a GOOD ACADEMIC
SCHOOL

Not that she embraced athletics... She wants to preserve what little dignity she has left

She took checks from a fraud and tried to distant herself from him
