Misconceptions about Wake

Everyone has bad games. If this was a one off under Mario id give it a pass. But this is an obvious pattern for this program and for Mario. I didn’t see UGA missing tackles left and right. I didnt see constant situational mismanagement.

We have guys buried on the depth chart that i imagine are paid more than their starters. I’m tired of the excuses.

We scored 2 points… 2 points in the 2nd half. They were taunting us. And we once again made an average QB look like a hesiman contender

So once again, you are simply comparing the UGA v. Arkansas game to the UM v. Wake game and choosing to ignore anything and everything that I and all other posters are saying?

AND you also continue to perpetuate the SEC v. ACC bull****?

They hate the AD. Kind of like us when we were burning through ****** coaches but still had Blake James at the helm. Or FSU now. Apparently their AD said something to the effect of they were going to suck anyway so they weren't even going to try to participate in the NIL era, and that ****ed off the fans, hence the boycott. I don't really know anything about their new HC (I'm sure someone here does), but my guess is that they must not be paying him much. I only know that he came from Memphis, so I thought that was fine, given the recent track record of Memphis coaches. But maybe there's more to him that we don't know.

I saw this coming with Thornton and TBH was never a huge fan of the signing. People were saying that he would be Keionte Scott part 2 but I never bought it. He has always been a major liability in pass coverage and that likely isn't changing. Hetherman needs to give the primary Nickel duty to someone else and just use Thornton as a blitzer. Portis needs playing time.

Wake is a decent team. But if we're a championship team, we beat them by 30. With the injuries we have and experienced in the game, it's not shocking that is got a little scary. We need to get healthy is the bottom line. And the freshmen OL need to grow up fast.

we went on the road with a work in progress OL, ended up down our top 2 RB, top WR, QB dinged up, DT dinged up, against ACC officiating and we won by 2 TDs.
