It’s interesting. He’s running the weakest squad on the team but I rarely hear him criticized on the board.

I’m not out to demonize him at all. He seems like a good guy. And he’s been hit with injuries. And the offensive scheme is questionable.

But who has he improved? Rivers, Clark, Campbell, Denis, etc?

We still can’t get a push inside. We gained under 2 yards per run against Duke. Our QBs were under constant pressure and TVD was knocked out of the game.

The injuries on the line are really significant.

The play calling by our garbage OC doesn’t compliment the skill sets of our players.

There is only so much an OL coach can do.

Remember when discussing the impact of the OL coach- Stacey Searles was the OL coach for UNC when they ran for 7,624 yards on us.

Hes one coach who I'm not judging just yet.

Every single possible thing is being stacked against him.

Constant injuries requiring constant shifting positions.
Scheme tries to run against packed box.
Gets no help from tightends.
Routes take so long, the QB needs 8 seconds.
Nelson holding himself out.

The players are better at pass blocking and they're good enough to keep the pocket clean for a reasonable amount of time.

Better players brought in should be able to notably help this position but we'll see.

He’s been criticized.

I think the combination of poor offensive scheme, lack of talent, and injuries have been the biggest issues.

Mirabal is responsible for 5 starting positions, any of which can bring down the play of the other 4. Its not like these guys were world beaters last year. EVERYONE looked better in the spread, including them. Still..

His top player appears to be saving himself for the draft at this point and hasn't played a single snap.
Yesterday he was forced to play his starting center's backup's backup.
Scaife is an Ivey at this point, fooling multiple coaching into getting snaps.
And Campbell.. What evidence did we have that Campbell was good other than the preseason sunshine pumping on here? Him playing last year doesn't guarantee that he had room improve.
Playing Oluwaseun is indefensible. Makes you why nobody else took his snaps. Until somebody else DID take his snaps once he got hurt, and looked equally as ******.

I hear u as far as guys not improving. But then.. would we even notice if Campbell or Rivers improved, if everyone around them are terrible?

I still think a lot of it is the system. If we can agree that the system affects the QB, WRs and RBs, its reasonable to say the same is true for the O-Line too.

Offensive line looked a lot better the first 3 games before injuries started to mount. I agree the scheme needs to change around the poor run blocking, and it has somewhat.

All that is true but still we have 5 300+ guys and for them not to get any push in short yardage situations against a bunch of jags on Duke's DL,it's like they just don't even care.

Lmao the dude is one of the best OL coaches in the country and he comes in and has worked with a OL who has been crappy the past 5 years and he’s the problem. LMAO, some of you posters on here.

Zion Clark and 70 have all been in the injury report to varying levels. I’m gonna give him time. Plus like with enos this scheme puts a ton of pressure on the line

Many OL are unplayable. Justice, Ryan Rodriguez, Chris Washington, Seymour Butts, McLaughlin to name a few.

What scheme would you need to gain a half yard on 4th down? Sorry but if your third string can’t get enough push to get a half yard then they don’t belong on this team.
