GO. GET. MILLER. MOSS. (And Branch or Concepcion)
That would be awesome to have. Can Moss bring Branch with him as a package deal?
Yeah he wouldn’t be my pick at all lol, huge regression and brings up questions if he was a system guy with Chadwell.
Who were those walk-ons?Not only was the OL awful he had a bunch of walk ons playing wr.
if we got Concepcion or branch, do you think our other receivers portal later?GO. GET. MILLER. MOSS. (And Branch or Concepcion)
Don’t think he means literal walk ons…but he was working with 3rd string receiversWho were those walk-ons?
One will I’m sure but if you can keep Horton, Concepcion, Trader, Carr, and Chance - I think losing RayRay is fine. I just think Miller won’t cost half what Cam did and you can get a solid producing WR to pair with Horton.if we got Concepcion or branch, do you think our other receivers portal later?
I like trader,Carr, and chance combo. just don't want to lose those guys. One will I’m sure but if you can keep Horton, Concepcion, Trader, Carr, and Chance - I think losing RayRay is fine. I just think Miller won’t cost half what Cam did and you can get a solid producing WR to pair with Horton.

Yall got mixed up. He was talking about Oklahoma. You're talking about USC.Hudson
Branch

I dont think so
This is a guy that spent a lot of time at USC, knew the system, and when he got his chance...ultimately he failed
Is the season over?Yall got mixed up. He was talking about Oklahoma. You're talking about USC.
But I am curious, why have you mentioned multiple times that Miller quit and walked out in his team? Because he just entered the portal?
The regular season is over yes.Is the season over?
The bottom line is this, while you all want to rant on about this guy.The regular season is over yes.
So youre gonna call every player to enter the portal a quitter for entering before their teams meaningless bowl game?
Ok, but let me bring you back to your quitter comment. Can you respond to that part? The bottom line is this, while you all want to rant on about this guy.
He cannot handle pressure, that's proven. He hasnt developed in a PROVEN system, with a great QB coach.
His OL wasnt great, but he definitely was not either. He barely above average at best.
Should we decide to pursue him, and he ultimately ends up at Miami....there will be TVD comparisons right after he gets his *** kicked by ND in game one.
Not to mention we might have at least 1 if not 2 more QBs of our own haul ***.
I’m talking OU and Jackson . I might have quoted the wrong comment at work lol.Hudson

Yep, since thats a major concern for youOk, but let me bring you back to your quitter comment. Can you respond to that part?
Mendoza and Emory are the same person.I don't think Mendoza is hitting the portal. The Cal coach said he wasn't yesterday and I think Mendoza also said he wasn't.
I just don’t see the difference between Mendoza and Emory. I think they're both average QBs with the capability to be below average if the right conditions are met. I don't think that will win games for us.I don’t know if it’s the “Miami thing” or just because it would require Miami passing up on what I feel are better QB options, but I just wouldn’t feel good with Mendoza.
I will admit, however, that he’s developing in a positive direction and better talent would help him. He’s obviously a very smart kid and I don’t know, something about him does give me Brock Purdy vibes/potential.

His trajectory, improvement, measurables, intangibles, etc and the fact that if Mario is dead set on him being the QB, that is what is going to happen. He would be a “stop gap” in terms of finding a new QB every year but again, that means Mendoza has developed better than anyone you have recruited, which again, is ******* concerning.
Thoughts, Cribby?
@Memnon - I think you have said hard pass on him but not sure.
With our luck, defense will be top 5 in America next year and our QB play will be bottom 5I just see the difference between Mendoza and Emory. I think they're both average QBs with the capability to be below average if the right conditions are met. I don't think that will win games for us.
Btw Mateer is a non P4 kid lolI think He would be a D or F option. Mateer , Jackson Arnold and non P4 kid are guys I’d expect to get attention. The non p4 kid would be intriguing. Then Mendoza.
