Milk Carton - Markeith Williams

He looks like he still weighs about 150 pounds. Fear he might be a tweener. Not quick enough to play corner, not big enough to be a safety. We'll see, still only a true sophomore but to me he doesn't look like he's added an ounce of weight.

Coach Guidry took a question at his press conference today about who would be filling in for Kam. He talked about CB's playing there and how Jaden Harris is the 'natural backup' or something- no mention of Markeith.

Richards is another DB who got a lot of hype in fall camp and is only playing special teams.He was a starter at Vandy so I hope he's patient here.

I was pondering this after the press conference. Has Balom even gotten any snaps?

It’s a valid question. Idk about “milk carton” because that insinuates he was once here and is now missing. He hasn’t really ever played. But he was a blue-chip recruit and we emptied the bench in a blowout last week and he didn’t get on the field. Then our all-America safety gets hurt and our DC makes no mention of him as a possible fill-in, meaning he’s not anywhere near a two-deep.
 
Let’s see who gets burn the next 3 games. If someone doesn’t play the next 3 games then they likely aren’t playing this year and will be recruited over. Mario made it pretty clear in his interview today about earning PT.

These next couple weeks are like week 3 & 4 in the NFL pre season. Backups got to earn their PT and spot on the roster heading into the ACC play and got 2 games to do it starting Thursday night

And he looked good when he played in some games last year,mainly GT.

Didn't the bs targeting call on James Williams happen the play right before Kam got hurt? We were thiiiis close to losing both. This was the position our lack of depth had me worried about in the offseason. And it still is a concern.

yeah it is weird that when life wallet did their snap counts they had next to him "unavailable" ESPN does credit him with one tackle for Miami OH, but looks like the UM website took down their stats as I didnt see ish.

Ladsen played a bunch of snaps in game 1. But when you got those 3 ahead of you you are not getting on field in a big game.

Who came in for Kam after he got hurt? That will tell you who is starting.
