Milk box: anybody seen Tommy Kennedy?

I remember discussions about Alan Symonette during his recruitment. Some of my friends had doubt back then whether he was really UM quality.
"
"Ian" and he was a baller, but not as good as Bar Milo. Bar is the best.

I recall that discussion on the board I was on back then. Begs the question of how HS players are selected for the Army All American Game and wherther that selection was how/why Symonette was rated so highly.

Kennedy is Bar Milo’s cousin, twice removed.
Not even close. Milo was expected to do very well. He was a four star from California. Found it odd at the time he was not offered by USC. Maybe they knew something.

We've had a ton of highly-rated OL recruits flame out. Anthony Lewis was a second-team USA Today A-A OL from Brockton, Mass which during that period the highest-rated HS team in the country by USA Today. Shows USA Today knew nothing.

So many more were highly rated...wasn't Ian Symonette another one?

I think one of my friends in Miami knew at the time that there were questions about how good Alan Symonette was. Was there another big OL about that time who did nothing? Can't remember all the names.

And that big guy, Bergman, from Fresno or Modesto or wherever who did nothing. His mother or father posted frequently on Grassy as Driller Fan than never to be heard from again after he matriculated. (Correction: It was Bakersfield. Whatever.)

And there was this big ugly OL from Carol City who turned out to be a huge stiff while his teammate Ricky Perry was actually better.

I like the way the current OL coach is looking less for massive size and more for tall lean athletes who can get bigger.

lol @ maybe. Its obvious everyone who watched milo knew something. He was awful. I dont think anyone expected him to do well who paid attention. When UM under Gluten Spree recruits a highly rated OL from CA, you can be sure something is off.

Symonette was a future 5* when he was a soph, and people just heard he was big, tall and Bahamian. By the time his summer before senior yr came and went, he was a somewhat whatever 4* who most knew was overrated.

Our biggest recent OL busts by rankings were Youngblood and McMeans. Though Seantrel was also a bit of a bust, particularly since he was our highest ranked recruit since Willie Williams.

I love how all the keyboard warriors want to take shots at this kid for some reason?
Somehow it’s his fault he was a highly sought after transfer and ended up at Miami?
Some of you are letting your true colors show.

What do you expect from the mouth-breathing fūckwits so prevalent on CIS?

In another thread you have a poster calling Kosi a tard.

Here in this thread, we have a bunch of soft *** little mama’s boys taking a dump on someone who chose us over other top P5 schools. These people have miserable fūcking lives and they only feel better by shltting on people more successful than them,

I don’t know if this guy ever plays a decent series for us, or if he surprises by being better than these geniuses think.

But here’s what I do know. The malignant stupidity and cowardice will continue here unabated. This site is like catnip to weak-willed mentally-challenged malcontents.

^^

Calls others names on message board.

Blames ‘malignant stupidity and cowardice.’

Calm down Tommy

You drinking again, or off your meds?

What I’m not doing is being a little pūssy and constantly whining and shltting on players ... like losers on this site do. It’s one thing to discuss about a possibly disappointing transfer... it’s another to literally have hundreds, maybe thousands of posts straight bashing a guy that has yet to take a snap.

But I guess that’s what miserable little coward pussies that have zero success in their lives do.

Right. You’re just constantly whining about and ****ting on all these unnamed site posters, like a good capt. save-a-ho. How you do not see the irony of your own posting is incredible. You incessantly call other people names, belittle the lives of people you don’t know, and fancy yourself as doing it all in the name and spirit of superfandom.

Even though he started here, I always thought Andrew Bain was nowhere near what many of us hoped. Dude was a top 10 OL recruit in the entire nation and a Top 50 or so recruit overall. I dont think he ever played an NFL game.

As a positive, he was the exact opposite of what we seem to be recruiting now in that he was a massive, strong dude who just overpowered people as a kid. We seem to be after kids with plus feet.

Yep. He was what you say, huge and strong. But not quick or explosive. More of a pusher and plodder. Not surprised he shined in HS and camps, and not surprised he didn’t make it in the league.

But compared to Pou and Wollschlager, Bain was a star!
