I expected a blowout. This was a billion times better than last year. O put up points. Still shakey on run D, but UNC has beaten us when we were the much better team.

Saw improvement in the 2nd half again from TVD. But you're not going to win going -2 in turnovers on the road.

Pass D good two games in a row.

This team has some talent, that the coaching staff isn't getting the best out of. Need to win some games to keep players from transferring out and the class together. Diaz is obviously a dead man walking. No amount of wins from here on out changes that.

Whats encouraging? Same old Canes. Great third quarter to get back in the game, but when you need to make a play to take control of the game, you can't do it and you show how poorly coached you are.
Last year they put double the yards on us, at home. This year we outgained them

What class? We have no class.

The only encouraging thing for me is that you can see there are potential stars littered throughout the roster. The next coach will certainly have something to work with, but as long as Manny is the head man, it’ll be more of the same.

There's nothing encouraging about it.

I'm totally aware this is TVD's second career start and I'm not about to bash him. That doesn't excuse the fact that he was 20/45 (44.4%) with 3 interceptions. He targeted Keyshawn Smith 14 times. Harley and Rambo had 13 targets combined and the other 7 receivers had 12 combined. It was pretty bad.

Rooster looked good. He'll need to be good for the next 6 weeks if Cam's injury is bad. We're pretty much down to him and Cody Brown, with a sprinkling of Brashard Smith.

Hidden under all that offensive progress is the defense that gave up more points to UNC than it did Alabama. The same UNC team that was held to 25 points last week by FSU. And its reasonable to assume we led the nation is missed tackles again this week.

Lets not forget that we were coming off a bye week. Or that penalties were a problem. Again. The loss wasn't close or encouraging. It was deflating. And its the second one in a row.

Seems TVD, does better when we spread it out, instead of when we bunch it .
As bad as this defense is, if we could just hold onto interceptions, we probably cut scoring in half. I have never seen a team dropped as many interceptions as this group does.
