I think there are some good arguments to be made that Miami should not hire Zo for AD. However, arguing that Zo would be LyNn SwAnN 2.0 is a terrible argument.

Zo has almost ten years of NFL Exec experience running an organization, evaluating players, and doing much of what you would want an AD to do. He's well respected in the NFL and South Florida. He played in the league and understands what it takes to win.

If you criteria for AD is someone with P5 AD experience, then Zo is unqualified. However, if you're evaluating his overall resume, then he's definitely qualified for the role. He'd need a No.2 who could run the compliance and finances end of the department, but he's definitely not unqualified for the role. Gino, I would say, is definitely unqualified. His resume doesn't line up with an AD position at all.

I used to love the show. Does that count for anything?

I agree, and it's why i'm not in favor of Mario, Zo or Torretta taking any roles in the program. The game has moved on, we need new blood in here.

At this point it's like watching two heels fight each other in a professional wrestling match. I don't want Highsmith but I certainly don't want the guy from New Mexico either. Jurich fell into their lap yet they found a way to ***** it up. I act surprised.
