What what was said was that Blake made due with what was allocated. Never pushed the adminstration or BOT for more money resources. Whole Ath Dept had this mindset due to him being this way. He was you eat what you kill. People pushing the new shift found this wrong and that is one of the reason they are looking for aggressive AD.

His philosophy HAD to have been talked about with BOT... and they didn't think to ask, hey Blake, what resources can we give you to be more successful... what do you need?

Listen man. Jurich is a slam dunk and you do that deal easy. But as far as the head coach search, take your time and find the right guy. Mario is number one on my list, but vet everyone. Mario, Petersen, Lane, Stoops, and Franklin. Don't just gift it to Mario.

How are you unsure how that is relevant? Mario tried to hire Rhett 2 years ago. You think it’s insane he would think about hiring him again?

This is the first I am hearing of Mario trying to hire Lashlee previously. If that’s true then you’re right, it’s relevant, but I still don’t think Lashlee will stick around long enough to be retained by Mario even if Mario was interested in him.

I cringe at the thought of boos raining down at HRS when TVD ends the game with this stat line after a loss to Virgina Tech:

Doesn't have to be that way. If we could get our OL in shape we would have a great advantage running the ball as well. We've had a history, more so than any other team over the last 25 years or so, of putting great RBs in the nfl. Mostly cause they are all over the place in south florida...... having a strong ability to run the ball would be huge. Look at bama even as their offense has changed.
