Lashlee will be long gone before Mario assembles his staff. Mario is going to hire someone who runs his ground and pound, ball control offense. We can only hope TVD does not regress. Last night during the Chargers - Steelers game Collinsworth was literally saying how underdeveloped Herbert was coming out of college.

It was weird, Mike said that Blake kinda ****ed off this Columbus Power contingent personally with something that went down before the FSU game. Said that he was told by Frenk by way of this group to start buyout talks with Manny but he refused to because it would be cheaper to fire him after Duke. This was one of the reasons James was let go then and there. He speculates that this was an ask that was a means to an end for Blake. Just strange.

Legitimate concerns with Mario. Especially with the Oline we have, we'll struggle even trying to run that type of offense.

Mario is looking to demand resorces like Miami never has.
20 to 30 million is the floor.
John Ruiz is new money that will be the money behind everything.

Good stuff, hope some of it is true. Herbie was not the catalyst for anything. The losing was. It's not as if Herbie didn't say anything we'd be strolling along talking about extensions for Blake and Manny.. it may have made things a bit more uncomfortable sooner but it's not like Herbie made on field futility less palatable.

Pray that Mario has learned his lesson and knows how valuable TVD is to turning everything around. Miami is not now and never will be a “three yards and a cloud of dust” type team.
