He took two different P5 programs from doormats to highly competitive. Which of our last 5 coaching hires have done that?

I like what he adds to the game. Dude is a breath of fresh air in a typically stale room. Doesn’t mean I’d choose him to coach our team, but glad he’s out there. Wash St seems to be a good fit for him. I’d much rather listen to him (or Bum Phillips) than another Satan or Diantonio rant. ***** that ****. Gimme some Leach musings to liven things up.

"Mike Leach is a gimmick that can do some interesting things elevating low-level programs for brief periods of time, but that's about it."

It's hyperbole. I'm not comparing him to Saban.

Leach moved WSU's recruiting ranking per 247 sports up 10 spots just by showing up. We're all aware that Washington as a state is devoid of talent, the weather sucks, and it's a $600+ flight from LA. They don't have Oregon's money or schtick to pay kids to come there. Leach wins because of his methods and he's great at finding assistant coaches and S&C coaches before they're too expensive.

Mike Leach is GOAT. If we didn't have such a soft PC culture he would be HC at UM right now.

We would definitely be having some fun, that's for sure. Add in a bad *** defense coordinator....he could have done some damage down here.

The problem, the D-cord. would likely need to be higher paid and much as they would be on the field.
