Mike Harley on the 1st int

Man, there are so many brutally dumb takes on here after a loss.

And yeah, after wins, too, I guess.

...as well as when the team doesn't play.

Carry on.

Even that was bs, where is the flag there? Like come tf on...

I rewinded so many times looking for the flag..they announced it on “3” witch is Harley who was nowhere in the celebration..that was a huge call and some bs tbh..then ****** bubba Baxa happens..we can’t have nice ****

Every time we play I see chicken**** calls against us and obvious call against our opponents that get missed. It's been that way for a long time. We always have to beat both our opponents and the refs. Always.

But as much as I'd like to, I can't blame many losses directly on the officials. They usually save that for bowl games.

All 3 ints were bad plays by the QB and good defense by VT. WRs weren't perfect but I'm not going to make excuses for Jarren. He was awful yesterday.

He is not good when throwing over 10 or 15 yards. He holds the ball to long, and doesn’t have the arm to make up for it. Certainly can’t throw deep or push the ball down the field. Also has poor pocket presence and never takes off when he got a clear running lane to pick up a first. His play yesterday was beyond dreadful. At least the coaches made one good decision yesterday, pulling him early after that disastrous start. He cost us the game.

Need to get out of the acc, this sh*t is ridiculous. Every game we get fvcked by the refs and it’s a snowball effect throughout

What did Garvin do wrong on his personal foul call? That was not a late hit. Also, Amari was tossed for grazing a QBs head with his elbow against UNC. Perry got smoked in the back of the head yesterday and it was all good. If we made that hit on their QB the entire team would have been tossed.

We are the old Washington Generals. Paid to get screwed and lose. You know UM knows this is the case, but they want that ACC money. We are, literally, the ACC's sacrificial lamb. Yeah, we played poorly at times yesterday, but the phantom calls, and the SEVERAL non calls on VT were enough to swing things drastically in the first half. I don't think I will watch another game all year long. I don't think my health will allow it.

Wondered why and where the flag came from . . . this is unbelievable. The **** coaching staff should have been - and needs to be - down someone's throat on this call. No way that flag should be thrown. If that's excessive celebration or some other BS, it can be called on a good number of TDs. Absolutely crazy.

ACC refs are horrible.

Flake and Diaz need to be more critical of the refs.

Back in 2016, Dabo was furious when he felt a certain ACC ref(that lives in Columbia,SC) unfairly penalized Clemson in a conference game, so they told the ACC office to not assign him to anymore of their games, he was biased against Clemson.

He did call the Clemson vs. Pittsburgh game later that season, and called multiple questionable 1-2 really bad PI calls, and Clemson lost to Pittsburgh at home.

I have no doubt these ACC officials who live in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, are biased against Miami. I see evidence of it every week.

They are in on it. Paid to look the other way and say nothing. No one can watch these games and not see it.

LOL … and the one no call that went our way on that last second kick off return (against Duke a couple of years ago), the ACC fired the officiating crew the next day. You don't think the other crews didn't notice that.

Clean pocket, JW holds the ball 1 second too long, when Harley cuts he has 4 yards of separation between himself and the defender who's squatting on the route. If JW gets the ball out on time it's a 1st down. This is when Harley's effort is unacceptable instead of coming across the face of the defender, he drifts appearing to side step contact allowing the defender to make a play on what should have been an easy 1st down.

Did Harley explain why on one of his receptions after the catch he proceeded to run sideways to allude defenders instead running upfield to get the 1st down?

It was PI. But I agree, poor effort by Harley. It was also poor effort by Wiggins on the Int in the end zone. If you know you aren’t going to catch it and the defender is, pull him down. Give up the PI versus the interception. I have said it many times, we don’t have a smart football team.

Hightower also sort of gave up on the third interception—not turning into a defender. He also barely gave chase to the defensive back after he hauled it in and started running.

They actually reviewed a block in the back. Since when is that allowed?
