It’s different, I teared up, it’s just different being a fan of this U. I know other fans don’t experience this. Could you even imagine being a fan of any team other than the Hurricanes??? What does that look like? All the losing we’ve dealt with and the self-sabotaging aside, it’s still special, it’s different.
Now fans of other teams would probably say that I’m creating that nostalgia and feeling from within myself and that it’s not the football team doing it. While I understand that argument, I disagree.

HTC, what you're talking about is the essence of Miami/Florida no matter where you go in the world, Most people from Miami have a certain type bond off the bat, that's just how we roll, our mindsets are mostly the same, dominate. We don't have to say much, the vibe tells us, the problem we got now is, we just need coach diaz to be himself, we all know what Irvin is about, he was a guaranteed HOF. Point being, it's about Brotherhood, this is why you don't see no other colleges that got players, when they get together, have guys from the 80's, 90's, 2000's sit down and have the same mindset, that's what is seen from Irvin, to ray, and to reed. The program officially became destroyed once butch davis left it was only a matter of time, the fix was in, than the firing of institutional assistant coaches. Coach Shannon was only hired because he was a disciplinarian and he was going to graduate his players, they wasn't trying to see him have football success, so they forced whip appeal a.k.a. mark whipple and gave him the" assistant headcoach title. Which is why he called himself trying to buck on coach Shannon during that clemson game.
But this was the importance of having a guy like coach richt come in, to actually help to restore the True UM foundation, in which he did in his 3 short years here that had been lost, coach richt was like the allspark, he instantly reconnected UM back to it's past, and paved the way for coach diaz, a Miami born and bred guy, it's in his hands now, and he knows what's suppose to happen, and what it's suppose to look like. Let's see if he can actually bring it into reality. Us giving up 48 points in 2games is not a good look.
