Shannon Dawson - D

for turning Cooper Barkate into the WR we utilize like a tight end in his offense: Barely existent. Be a better coach!!

Heatherman: D-

Coaching malpractice all year vs less than mediocre competition.

WR: B (pretty meh after Mali)

I hate the Total Offense stat but grading the OC of the #1 offense in country a D is nasty work.

safety blitz when the opposing team has to drive for the win will do that
putting thornton in the position to rotate to high safety will do that
it's recency bias, but those errors were egregious

So you don’t like Thornton and how he’s being used. Got it. Should we put OJ and Slime out there? Oh wait….

I didn’t say give the coordinators A+ grades. D is ridiculous. Especially ridiculous given we are ranked #1 right now.

Individual position grades, or even individual player, might be a better indicator of performance.

nah ... and we were down poyser ... but would like my dc to have the awareness to get the guy that led all freshman in interceptions as the high safety at minimum in that case or even better, keep two high and make them earn it ... but i agree a D is crazy ... i'd say C or C+
