He’s probably not going to need a job anytime soon because he’s about to turn around and suit MI for firing him.
 
Didnt we try to bring him in as a TE coach at some point? Mario's first year I believe but Michigan bumped him to OL & Co-OC or something

Given the incredibly high levels of arrogance their fans, students, faculty, staff and alumni present on the daily, it’s pretty easy to hate Michigan.

Is there a thread yet about Adam Schefter and his lack of journalistic integrity?

The upperclassmen on that team have only been in the NFL for two years. There is plenty of guys on that team who are off to a good start in the NFL:

Mike Sainristil, AJ Barner Blake Corrum, Will Johnson, Mason Graham had injuries his rookie year but he will be a stud, Roman Wilson has gotten a lot of Buzz in training camp, Kris Jenkins is way beyond serviceable, Zak Zinter (injuries early on but is battling for a starting spot)

They are far from being one of the best national championship teams of the decade, but at the end of the day they were the best team in college football that year. I have a very unpopular take on the scandal (I think it made almost no difference), but I don't have enough to argue with people. I hate OSU and have always liked the Harbaugh family, so there is that element as well. The point is that the team was extremely well-coached and had plenty of guys who made it to the next level. It's stupid to compare that team to the '01 Canes and the 19 LSU Tigers because that is impossible to replicate. People are going to have this same conversation in a few years with the 25' Indiana team

I agree the team was very well coached. It’s almost a bigger feather in Harbaugh’s cap that he was able to win a championship without a roster of stars. I also agree that guys like Corum, Sainstril and Graham will have good NFL careers. They just may never become stars. We are just used to seeing national championships littered with 1st round picks because of Bama, OSU, LSU ,etc.

Harbaugh is a very good college coach, and arguably great. I’m not as convinced he is as good as an NFL coach.

If it had no impact on that season, they wouldn't have fallen completely off a cliff as soon as they weren't allowed to cheat anymore.

Cheatagain will struggle to win 7 or 8 games this season for the 3rd year in a row...

But yeah, knowing all their opponents plays definitely had nothing to do with it.

We'll probably be a wildcard at best.

As long as LaChoke Jackson is the QB, we have a very low ceiling as a franchise.

The Defense should be much improved though.

I still think there was something fishy with Indiana too. But it’s funny how the national media gives Michigan a pass.

Yea Lamar in a weird place I think if Minter got the pieces he can get that defense right and they will be a problem.. Maybe I am more bullish.
