The situations are completely different.

situations are diff but the school isnt going to sit there and pay off somebody. we've literally got into lawsuits with two former coaches over buyouts lol, as well. look dude, were still a cheap school when it comes to this stuff. that MSU game just isnt going to happen esp w MSU full for the next few years.

the other side of it with the patsy is that it still gets their kids on tv and viewership they normally wouldn't get. it helps with exposure

May be confusing MSU with Michigan, as Miami went up to Ann Arbor and ripped their hearts out in 1988, and Michigan would never schedule Miami again.

Miami also went to Ann Arbor as the #1 team in 1984 and lost due to 6 (I think) Kosar INTs and 8 or 9 total turnovers.
