I have a handful of good friends who went to Michigan and are die hards...Not one has anything good to say about him. I thought maybe they were sour that he left, but since their offense hasn't skipped a beat, I don't think that's the case.

How much of this year's offensive struggles were simply due to the fact that Lashlee 's offense got the ball out so quickly, the deficiencies in the offensive line were masked? Gattis, like Enos calls plays that are long-developing, which highlighted how terrible the blocking really was. Same with receiver development. Transitioning from space and pace to a slower, more methodical offensive style takes time.

Gattis is to Cane offensive football what D'Onofrio was to the defensive side under Golden. He is kryptonite to us, he needed to be gone the day our season ended.

We know it didn’t work this year but I’m a big Michigan fan and Gattis was truly brilliant calling the 2021 Ohio State game. Kept them off balance the whole game.

Can you elaborate?

For example, did he bench his starting QB in the middle of the opening drive to put a true freshman into the game to run a dive play? Did he put his 3rd string QB into the game on 3rd and long from inside their own 15 yard line to throw a pass because the guy he promoted to 2nd string could be trusted to throw a forward pass in a football game? Give us an understanding of what you saw from Gattis in that game that seems to have been missing from Michigan's offense since his departure.
