He was the best player on the field against STA. He plays hungry.
Can't wait to watch him tonight in the Soul Bowl.
I was at that game, and he was clearly the best player on the field.
I've been reading a lot of anti- Michael Smith posts on here lately, from fans saying they don't want him to come, and he's not worthy
Personally, I've seen him play live, and this kid is raw, however I think he has potential to be great.
It all depends on what type of Northwestern football mentality he has...
If he has the 2008 Northwestern class mentality, he wont put in the work and he will underachieve just like those recruits did (outside of Sean)
or if he comes in with the typical Northwestern player mentality which is: "I'm gonna work my *** off, and become the baddest motherf*%#er this football field has seen"
IMO he succeeds at Miami, and has a lot of Canes fans on here swallowing their words
Like him a lot as a player. My hope is guys like him will be used more creatively. Not sure if you can just "bulk up" someone like Smith to fit a pre-defined role.
IDK why you are knocking coach D. I don't care that any school gets 400 yards on us as long we win.
How many yards equal 1 point?

I got to the game before you and formulated my opinion that he was the best player on the field before you did.

What time did you arrive at the game?
I have never seen one post saying they don't want Michael Smith here.
Not one iota.
