Michael Irvin

Size of the HS or talent he competes against is ultimately irrelevant. The kid can either play or he can't. Guess here is we'll some day find out he can play. For his peace of mind, though, might be better looking elsewhere.

Which begs the question: why does every thread either start out or end up attacking a coach, ex-player, ex-player's kid or anyone remotely connected to the program?

Why weren't his first words as a baby him making his commitment here?

Some of yall need to chill out. As long as he signs come NSD, IDGAF when he commits, since it means nothing anyway.

Mike's public opinion of Folden is way different than his actual opinion of Folden. You guys get suckered too easily by public comments.

Well if your big like a te and run like a te well your a te.

Don't necessarily disagree with you but it could be the reason he's taking his time.

he gonna drop a few lbs? skip a biscuit? train plyos and ****? hes big and relatively slow, sounds like a mfin te.

like an above poster said, probably just wants to take visits, etc.

He couldn't take visits if he commits to UM? Tell that to every other UM commit who has no problem visiting other schools and claiming to still be open.

This may be sacrilege. But of Michael Irvin is so in on golden why is his kid not committed yet and recruiting for us? This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. "I told my son there a lot of choices you get to make as a man. But where you going to go to school is not one of them" Michael Irvin's words not mine. Just keeping it 100

He's signed his LOI for auburn. Looks like he is more focused on playing for a real coaching staff.

For the upteenth time....

Tim Irvin IS NOT Mike Irvin's son....Tim is his nephew

Are you sure? How do you know?

I think if people really listen to what Michael Irvin has said and also listen to how he speaks on the subject overall that it really doesn't assure anyone that he is "in" on AG as much as it says that Golden deserves the opportunity to finish a somewhat clean term on the job. The reasoning seems more like Michael sees that "term/3-4 years" for Golden as being after the dust of the scam "at least began to settle". Which basically would be after this coming season. I believe it's his best attempt to try and keep as positive a light on things as he can considering everything that has been dealt with primarily in the first couple of seasons of the AG tenure. Most of us can obviously see it's not working and I believe he can as well. Some have just chosen to channel their opnions in different directions and in different ways. IMO Michael Irvin is a perfect example of that.
