Wide receiver/tight end Michael Irvin Jr. has withdrawn from Plano Prestonwood and won’t play his senior season of football there, according to Prestonwood coach Chris Cunningham.

Irvin had spent the past three years with the Prestonwood varsity team. He led the team in receiving in 2013 and finished second in 2014 with 103 catches for 1,249 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Irvin is a 3-star recruit and has offers from Miami (FL), Georgia, South Florida, SMU and North Texas, according to 247 Sports.

Last September, Irvin caught 21 passes in a game against IMG Academy, falling one short of tying the state record for receptions in a game, according to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.

This part of the 21 Catch day Mike Irvin Jr playing TE had against IMG Academy in 2014 (he is #88)

Lulz at the trick play for a TD at :37. **** that little IMG CB got worked!

If this kids transfer into fla and at sta....sweet baby jesus...

They would have Trevon Grimes, Sam Bruce, and him out wide...they would do what they wanted with anybody at qb.

He's at STA now.

And Irvin Jr. Is worth the offer. He's a flex WR/TE and a physical one.

Udonis Haslem's son has also transferred to STA. 2017 D-Line kid coming in from Dade Christian or Miami Christian, one of those. He can ball though

Remember. Haslem loves UM, but went to Florida because they would better prepare him. Why would Haslem's son go to Flordia OR Miami (assuming that Folden is still the head coach then, let's hope not)

He's still young, but he's getting dragged and worked in some of his own highlights by Class 1a kids that are much smaller than him.
