Florida's offense looks bad. Really bad. This was a game because Michigan's QB is just so bad. UF's defense isn't even as good as it was during the Muschamp years. They're going to have a long season.

I think you are right in this debate, but that wasn't nice.

Fair enough, I was wrong to be so coldblooded, but I'm tired of the tyranny of recent events being the only point of reference. Heck, to apply it to this thread, from my first 10+ years of CFB followership, we would laugh at the Gators relative ineptness, but recent history has changed that equation.

Miami grew more attractive to me as a fan because they rubbed the noses of the CFB establishment ("Cane Mutiny" details these "transgressions") and their stupid unwritten rules of conduct. I don't want CFB to be No Fun League II because the media powers that exist (ESPN/Disney) wield enormous power and cover their freedom restricting mandates under the cover of "someone will be offended." The good ole' boys were wrong to target Miami with the NCAA rules, but the eastern establishment leftists are now guilty of the same if they prohibit SPINNING A BALL!!!
