Miami's Snap Counts vs. Florida State

Exhibit 10000 for why you gotta effing bury teams. We have to build depth. We’re hoping to play through the end of Jan. Gotta give these dudes some load mgmt as soft as that sounds over the rest of the season. Maybe they felt that having the bye gave us more time to recover and therefore they could eat more snaps.
We got through the rilvary part of the season, I expect that we start putting away these teams coming up and building development.
You are 100% correct got to have those games to play guys

Does Bauman really merit him taking double of the TE snaps vs our athletic freak in Elijah?

No entiendo

Load management? Thats fluffer talk.

Bauman had a good bounce back game. I do like the rotation with McCoy and Samson.

When was Ryan Rodriguez in game? The guard platoon spot between McCoy and Oku accounted for every snap there?

Are we in 6 OL in some short yardage (not even counting SJ as the fullback)

No complaints with Bauman against FSU. He played well from what I can remember. Lofton will get more snaps as the season goes on. He looks out of shape. Maybe injury related
Lofton looks like he is struggling blocking too. I recall at least 1 holding call on him.

I love that play where Lofton slides across the OL like he is going to block the DE, then leaks out into the flat. It's worked for chunk plays a few times this year.

Had to check to see if we had any cornerbacks playing since FSUs receivers didnt do anything.

Surprised Artavious Jones cant get himself into the rotation.
I thought this earlier as well but then it kinda made sense when I asked when he would actually see snaps... Obviously Blay and Moten are the starters, Scott comes in as first off the bench, and Simpson has clearly worked his way to the #4 DT spot. On passing downs Blount and either Messidor or Bain slide inside, so you are really calling for the 5th/6th DT to get snaps and in close games that likely doesnt happen across the board. I hope with bigger leads we start to get the depth some snaps.
