Pringle should have gotten the 3 Lyle snaps.
Where were the other CBs? Ewald, Waters, Jennings, Redding got 0 snaps.
Congdon should not leave the field for SJ.
We have to get another OT ready to play: Hawks or Cantwell have to step up because Meriweather isn't the answer.
Meriweather maybe a better option at OG than SJ.
Disappointed in Dre. He is playing hesitant. We need more out of Barkate, Upshaw, and Dre. If not, Wingo has to get some looks.

Davis is a little undersized but he has some moves. Good 3T. Moten to Carter was a clear drop off.
With Blount and Lightfoot banged up: Wilson, Scroggins, Pickett, and Lafayette kept that QB running. Had we had 1 more healthy CB, this game gets very ugly.
I think you are mistaking Davis for Carter. Carter is the smaller of the two. Davis is one of our largest DTs

Davis can play at SDE. Carter is a bowling ball and actually heavier than Davis. If Scott and Moten both leave, we are going to need 2 DT unless 2026 kids take big steps.

Dunnigan and Blount clearly hurt.

Surprised Keona Davis isn’t providing more snaps.

Need Jacob’s to step up and produce a few catches a game.

Makes zero sense for Pringle to have so few snaps and only one touch. Confounding that Dawson hasn’t carved out a role for him, could be such a great complement to the power of Fletch and Mallory. Also need much more production out of pass catchers beyond Toney.

I’m convinced some of you don’t even watch games or have no clue how many injuries this team has. SJ played well while Buchanan was out injured. What is the staff supposed to do when starters go out?
Just easier to complain and join everyone else’s narrative.

Some thoughts. Max has settled in. Ben has made a HUGE difference on the line. This game was great experience for those too. I want them to get as many snaps as possible.

Day, Mack, Keona Davis, and scroggins caught my eye. Day and Scroggins hustle their butts off. Mack and Davis are better athletes than I thought.

Cantwell didn’t play at all but SJ did? Clearly Congdon is more advanced and looked good.
Assume he was hurt or being punished. Highly doubt we give zero reps to a guy who will be needed later on.

He’s hurt? Didn’t know that. WHY IS EVERYONE HURT lmao

Just my thought nothing confirmed. Even from week 1 game he seemed to be honing around. Then has gone games without snaps or only a few snaps. I know he is behind in development but the limited snaps tells me he is also not 100%.

If he is 100% and still not getting snaps then that means he is waaaay far away from contributing this year.

SJ played pretty well. I know he’s the new whipping boy but let’s judge fairly. He’s had bad moments and we’ve all discussed it but let’s not bury him if he plays well.

He was explosive off the ball last night. I wonder if he is just better at playing RG. I don’t know if there is much difference from playing right or left guard but he did look better.

I agree. I have no issue with him getting snaps if he’s not messing up. Maybe hes a center long term and it works out

With the injuries stacking up id divide up the RB snaps a bit more. Obviously let fletch do his late game pounding but gotta lessen his wear and tear a bit.
Spreading snaps is easier in some games than others. This wasn’t one of them.

Gonna push back on a couple notions..

yes, Mack has some potential and IF NECESSARY can be utilized; still, awful light in the ***, and clearly needs to develop physically. Bigger/stronger receivers could be a serious problem. If injuries persist, I'm sure his matchups will be limited.

Merriweather was not good, but his snaps last night are being blown into true freshman Zion Nelson v UF proportions.
