Miami's Mount Rushmore

1. Either Alonzo Highsmith or Melvin Bratton. Those recruits legitimized Howard and began the possibility of the "U". For those who don't know, check recruiting back then. Miami didn't begin in 2001. If Howard doesn't pull them....we don't have the U.
2. Jim Kelly.

This. I would go with the players in that class that all came in together. Without them there probably never would have been an Irvin, Walsh, and the rest of them.

If you just want to go with QB's you go with the guys with titles in Kosar, Walsh, Erickson, and Dorsey.

If you go with most influential for the title teams you go Kosar, Irvin, Russell Maryland, and Ed Reed.

If you go with most college hardware you go Warren Sapp, Blades, Dan Morgan, and Vinney T.

If you go with greatest NFL success you go Kelly, Irvin, Ray Lewis, and Ed Reed

If you go with the baddest ****'s ever to wear the Miami U while playing at the U it goes Blades, Jerome Brown, Tez Kennedy, And Sean Taylor.

When college fans outside of Florida think of the U they think Irvin, Ray Lewis, Kosar, and Warren Sapp
