On3 had an interesting article on Jim Nagy and Oklahoma's front office. It talks about how well run they are:

Ask any agent interviewed for this story where Oklahoma ranks among major programs, and the answers cluster: top tier. OU is not the only program doing it right, but is comfortably among the best.

“I’d put them in the top 10 programs to deal with,” said one veteran agent. “Indiana does a really good job. Miami does a really good job. Oregon, Ohio State, Texas Tech — those are all schools I’d put in that group. Oklahoma belongs in that same category.”

It doesn't really address talent evaluation which is an area that Miami has to be at the top of the rankings-based on the fact that we outperformed our overall composite talent rankings so dramatically. It's kind of crazy to think that we beat 4 teams last year ranked ahead of is the talent composite.

Don't get me wrong, I am happy that Miami is in this tier, but I do find it somewhat funny that these are all teams that are known to spend a lot of money. Of course the agents like dealing with them 😂

Nagy is my fraternity brother and a really good person.

Did you go to Meechigan? Senior Bowl lost a good one when he left. He was doing such a good job with that than the guy before him
Both UM’s.

Miami and then transferred to Michigan (in-state tuition was the siren call).
I rushed Sig Ep at Michigan and was Nagy’s pledge trainer.
