"Miami whipped Sparty DL from start to finiRsh"

This is the headline that officially tells everyone that Manny is done. Whether or not he knows, Blake knows or the BOT knows he’s done. It’s just a matter of when now. The players see this and they know he’s done.

Also from Barry - a quote from Manny:

“You don’t want your players to be tight like they can’t make a mistake. A person’s going to make a mistake. But the critical ones, you need your best guys. What it comes down to is, we need to make our layups. That’s been the most frustrating thing to us, we’re not making our layups. A year ago, we did issues like contested catches down the field. Those are lower percentage plays. Even some of the tackles we missed, we miss some layups."

Talk all you want but is this the "standard" around here now? I thought the "standard" was that you didn't want to mess up because the backup would come in and take your job. The new "standard" is that "it's okay to make mistakes son...it happens but I believe in you - get out there and try to do better okay champ?!"

Wtf? You either get the job done or you don’t. That’s life. Forget football, what a horrible ******* lesson he’s teaching these guys.

this is pathetic

He knows. Does anyone think he is really going to call out the players that are dragging the team down? or admit that the defensive scheme sucks? It's not happening. To admit those things is to admit that he is failing. He came as close to saying it as he is going to.

Not sure any coach would say that at this point but you can bet your boots he knows.....

Meanwhile...

I have come to the conclusion that this team is underperforming not because we lack talent but because Manny doesn’t know how to coach. Manny just complete disregard to attention to detail and fundamentals is insane. I mean we, as a fan base, have been complaining about how carter ******* sucks at tackling and it obviously has to do with his talent, but come to find out the whole team doesn’t know how to tackle, or set the edge, or play assignment football. Mallory has been here for 3 years and still is soft as tissue paper, if Manny had actually been emphasizing physicality in practice then either Mallory wouldn’t be having this problem or wouldn’t see the field. The reason why you don’t see any progress in these players development is because Manny has no idea how to develop a player and make them better. He is legitimately setting these kids up for failure.

You can take football out of it for a second. As a parent, whether you realize it or not, you're sending your kid that will be groomed as a person in their early adult life. Manny is teaching these guys horrible life advice. It's no wonder that Manny is mediocre in all aspects of his field.

Lol. You can't make this up. 24 rushes for 52 yards.

What!!! What a clown show. No accountability. No one will ever get better if they are told they did a good job. Let's see. Over 200 yards rushing. Allowed an unblocked blind side crushing that changed the momentum of the game, I could keep going. Get this guy out of here. He is trying to get fired with these comments.

It is incredible how all of these guys sound exactly the same when it gets to this point. You could pull Golden quotes and toss an "- Manny Diaz" at the end or vice versa and it would be equally plausible.
