The vaginal discharge over last night's humiliation aside...

Miami, we have a problem...

- By my amateur model, Miami underperformed by ~21 pts last night
-- Continues brutal and troubling trend since forever, bye week or not
-- GT lost to Bowling Green week before
-- Can't think of another P5 team who has suffered more "program historic" humiliating losses past 5 years than Miami
- Kneeling last night and getting the "W" doesn't fix above, it sugar coats over it
- Data now indicates aTm W was fluke, and Miami, while improved against G5, has not improved enough against P5 game-to-game
- Expect a 14-21+ UNC victory on Saturday because the offense sputters and....

- Miami has ACC officials' bias problem
- NBA fans were called kooks and sore losers until Tim MConaghy was exposed
- Many have suspected the anti-Miami bias for years, last night's officiating left no doubt from start to finish
-- Costed Miami ~14 points and gifted GT ~14 points...for ~28 point swing
-- Even with perfect play, I'm no longer confident Miami can win "close" ACC matchups...all it takes is a marginal call/no call at key moments for game changing outcomes as we saw

Not calling for a kneel down was a culmination of several root causes as to why our Canes came up short in the W column last night, but it exposed and brought to the front several ugly truths that are going to be even more readily apparent in the weeks to come.

Brace yourselves.

They had 500 yards almost and held gt to 250 so no the A&M game wasn’t a fluke. The difference was tvd balled out vs A&M and played like pure shít vs gt
I honestly thought he had a hand issue. Most of not all his passes looked bad, off, etc. Maybe I'm seeing things but he was not the same guy even from 2 weeks ago.

You're making my stomach hurt. I don't know about everything else but when that ***** threw the flag on Flagg, the expression on his face told me what type of night it was going to be.

And it’s not the refs ,

Let’s go back in time WAY back when we played Texas in the Cotton Bowl , can’t remember the year .

We had close to 150 yards in penalties at HALFTIME.

The referees put Coach Erickson aside on the way to the locker room:

Coach you need to curb your penalties :

Erickson :

This game is already over we ain’t changing nothing.

I think we set a penalty record of 250 yards in penalties while spanking the Turds of of Texas.

Put this game in your search engine and watch this game for the days of RINGS.

ENJOY WATCHING THIS and see flags didn’t change anything we did NIT ALLOW IT.

GO GO A HEAD AND WATCH UT

There was A LOT of things that bothered me yesterday. When we HAD the ball, were STILL up by 3, and BEFORE the fumble occurred...I was arguing with all the Don Bailey Jr wannabe fans around me who were trying to perform the mental gymnastics that this was somehow suppose to be interpreted as "a good win".

Back to my point. Being at the game really gives you the advantage of seeing the full 22 view that the camera doesn't always allow. GT LIVED last night with their safeties sitting at a much more shallow depth than you normally see. They were squatting on EVERYTHING. I fully understand it was 2 safety shell but on the majority of the snaps, they were both probably 10 yards or less from the line of scrimmage.

I say all that to say this. It's hard for me to know who to blame here since none of us know just how much freedom TVD has to do checks and how much Dawson SPECIFICALLY signaled in last minute checks........but we basically played right into the hands of a DC that has literally been on the job for less than a week. Running the ball into 8-9 man boxes is the definition of insanity. Even a team as poor against the run as GT can use numbers in the run game to level the playing field. They played all game DARING us to challenge the deep middle of the field. What's worst is that on the rare occasions that we did test it...we found success with long passes to X and Young.

So in conclusion....WHAT IN THE **** WAS THIS COACHING STAFF DOING LAST NIGHT???? Is that all it takes for them to forget how to call a game? What's even more mind blowing is we were throwing the ball deep against similar pre snaps looks vs TAMU.

I still can't process what I saw last night. All my years watching football and I've never seen a more mindless attempt to purposely give away a game. It wasn't ONE thing....there were a million things.

And it needs to be said, I don't give a flying F how high his draft stock is, how much of an All American he is, and whatever other premature crowning of the dude you want to engage in......what KAM did on that last play was INEXCUSEABLE. If we weren't playing at UNC this week I'd demand he be benched for the entire game.

A mistake on one play doesn't bench Kam, even if it cost the game.

His played well all night and his racing like a mad man for a lead block enabled 5+ more yards on JWs interception.

Mistakes happen.

It does reinforce my point though, our Canes MUST play to perfection for even a chance at a W in ACC play. The referees will tilt the scales every chance they get.

Lots to unpack here friend. Stromtrooper avatar Jedi Master.

Complex gato you are.

If Kam's crime is benchable, what does playing UNC have to do with it? Certainly next man up is the better option right?

Or perhaps these aren't the safeties you seek?

Been posting this for years, but the original link died so have to (gag) rely on the Warchant story:

https://floridastate.rivals.com/new...8VtUSjUupS_WEznP00yLkiyXhqwOtSDbFVtaaDBWW0glP

I fully expect, despite UNC not voting to expand the ACC, will get all the Ref support they need. The officials are mostly the same over the years (Okay, Ron Cherry retired). I fully expect Ron Predetto or "Jeff with glasses" to do Mac's bidding.

https://theacc.com/news/2022/11/30/alberto-riveron-named-acc-supervisor-of-football-officials.aspx

It would seem Riveron is is "overcompensating" for his South Florida roots (and like Phillips) is a Tobacco Road Maskirovka
plant, Swofford through his well placed staffers still runs the conference.
